Better to find the source of leak and fix it properly.

Don't simply put in stop leak that will clog up the variable valve timing mechanisms.
*
Thank you for your good advice, now i on hold ๐Ÿ˜…
Is there case you experience or may be you know/aware, mind to share?

Mine notice some sticky oil at the area somewhere below the TB, been replaced the gasket 1 year ago when oil leak found around the top part of engine.

Last week finally changed starter (original recondition), new original damn expensive RM8ร—ร—.

Been having problem 2-3months, sometime cannot start engine but after another 1 or 2 time try can start. Luckily found new workshop that use 1 multi function test tool check confirm battery condition ok but during starter function check voltage drop below 10V.

Bad luck aircond also suddenly not function after cooling coil replacement 3-4 years ago, replaced minor leak cooling coil & o-ring at pipe join to compressor, fuuu... luckily not compressor.

It will be more noticeable over the time, you have the same symptoms like mine, after half years it takes over a minutes to tackle the gear 1 after shift to D in morning \ idle for too long

To solve it,
- Change ATF, it will significantly reduce the delay
- Add the Gearbox transmission treatment oil, there are a lots in the market, some workshop carries the brand too, I bought 1 for RM60 made in German, and another 2 bottles local brands, RM90 each.

That's the reason I don't change ATF every 40k km as per suggest, I will do it on 20k km mark.
*
RM60 made in German what brand? how is it compare with the RM90 ?
RM90 I think same as currently i am using 1 but i use 1 bottle only.

I'd tried Aeropak & Waxco. The result is just so-so only. Not totally clean. And the dirt drop from cooling coil not entirely drain out..still left in the box.
Better service at workshop, properly dismantle & cleaning the cooling coil using proper solution.
*
Agreed especially if you have not service your aircond few years.

Going to change Spark Coils x 4 biji + 4 biji spark plug due to the extreme jerking

How much the estimation cost?
*
Depend on original nissan or TC or oem parts.
What i know could be Spark Coils x4 (around RM400-700), Spark plug x4 (around RM200-300), not forgetting labour easily RM60-90.

Buy parts on your own may cost less bit but make sure get good quality 1. Btw how you confirm spark plug or spark coil cause that jerking?

My Grand Livina inherit from my sis, that's y lots parts changes history is unknown (if u know how lady do car service). 2 biji is counterfeit, the workshop owner shown me when open up the engine cover, another 2 is ori Bosch, but due to the huge difference of voltage, hence the car keep jerking.

Yeah, at least solve 1 of the problem, and now need move to rear absorber  replacement sad.gif

Aged car problem slowly come out.
Mine lately got noise (sound like something loose knocking) coming from rear, especially when drive slow on & off can hear, yet to try check what cause that.

- "N", rpm = ?
- "D" & car not moving, rpm = ?

With aircond ON, when gear at "D" & car not moving,

Mine is 1.8 year 2008

With aircond OFF,ย  when gear at
- "P", rpm = 0.5 - 0.8k
- "N", rpm = same as above
- "D" & car not moving, rpm = 0.8k to 1k

With aircond ON, when gear at "D" & car not moving,
- aircond compressor kick in, rpm = 0.8 to 1k
- aircond compressor not kick in, rpm = jump to 1.5k then go back to 1k after kick in
*
Thanks for sharing.
"aircond compressor not kick in, rpm = jump to 1.5k then go back to 1k after kick in"
Seem rpm very high, ever do rpm setting by workshop?

According to manual for 1.8, rpm should be 700 (+50 or -50) at "idle speed at the "N" (Neutral) position". I belleve for aging car might be slight higher bit because usually outside workshop may set rpm up bit to minimise car shaky feel.

Last year my itchy hand tried reset ECU of my 1.8 (2009) by follow step shared by nissan car user from US website, after few trial rpm resetted, and the rpm mostly around 600-850, lately saw some web info if rpm too low or too high than engine spec might cause harm to engine.

Can't remember exact since few years ago, but i buy the rear absorber from Nissan stockist at KL, may be around slightly below RM100 per pc.
