If Toyota Vios has no air con filter, why my car is still working fine after 6 years?

I think is a difference storey, if your car air con coil is behind the drawer board then is very easy to open for wash and clean that Aircon coil.
If your car in center of dashboard you may open up everything from the front baseboard with meter too, after install back maybe got sound noise if fixed unproperly done the install with some gap or noise come from the dashboard if you are driving over the yellow line road for slow down and can hear the noise from dashboard if you don't mind

So i just tell the accessories shop I need to install "Aircon filter"? How much roughly it costs? Any specific shop you would recommend?

I think normal car aircon shop they have the aircon filter for GL the price is around Rm70. If install maybe is take you around Rm10+/-.
One new filter can allow to replace in 20,000-25,000km, this is better than no install lah.

air-con filter from spare parts shop like Jaya at ros merah sell it for rm32...

If you are from Klang Valey, many mylivina.com forumers installed aircond filter (RM55 labour + OEM filter) at below shop

I'm buy the filter separately from near the carrifour got one shop at corner is 3 - storey I bought from them at the filter price Rm70. And modify at taman Gaya beside the hala steamboat got one accessories and mod with the boss for free cause I have install the double docks for brake they sell at around Rm300 with install and sun visor they have also made in Taiwan in good quality product.

DIY myself installing the cabin filter......the hole cutting is so tiring......

hmm - tough plastics I suppose? I'm gonna try cutting it tomorrow.. wish me luck

Before doing your cutting job and get the insulation tape ready. After cutter and slot in the filter and paste with insolution tape for anti-dust from suction in.

& wat the brake docks use for?

Brake lock to protect your car loh, got ppl only use the steering lock but not so good,
you have to take out and lock back.
If using the brake lock only one hand to pull the lock then is ok liao for 2nd lock to pull out lock,
so call this double brake lock.
Even open the lock also quite easy and fast,
not need take much time to unlock.

That time I nid serach for Locktech from Thailand, but cannot found.
Then no choice to install Locktact from local with cost 300.00.

Hi, share my 1st cycle on full tank.
Around 0.20Cent per KM.
Actually not fully empty tank on the E level at half, I think still can runs up to 60-80KM.

yea, its normal, after first service will probably increase till around 400km to 450km...i assume yours is 1.8?
