When the fuel indicator shows Empty, I can normally pump between 35-39 litres of petrol, but Livina specifications stated that the fuel tank capacity is 52 litres. My question is whether there is always at least 13 litres of fuel at Empty level, or there is air in the fuel tank? Will the tank really takes in 52 litres?
*
Many GL owner do have the same question, I ever drive additional about 50km (highway) right after the indicator light on and pump in nearly 42 litrers petrol.

Hi, just to share.....

- Be aware the leather seat offered by TC/Nissan is not full leather, only the front side of seat is leather.
- Do visit few different branches, offer can be varying from different branch or sales person

Hi All!

My GL front windscreen cracked yesterday on the Plus highway...dunno where the stone/pebble came from.

Anyway, anyone know how much to change the front windscreen? Any good recommendation?

Anywhere in Klang Valley...

Thanks!

edit:

Just to update, I was quoted 3 type of windscreen for the NGL:

Made in China - RM1000
Made in Malaysia - RM1100
Original Nissan Windscreen - RM1800 (dunno made in wat country ler)

Need to know if this price is acceptable/within range... or I kena cut throat?
*
Original Nissan Windscreen damn expensive, RM1800 (part & labour)

Some info from mylivina.com forumers to share here.
Brand --- MSG, Double layer windsreen made in Malaysia
Cost --- around RM600 - RM850 (depend how you bargain)

Many mylivina.com forumers change their windscreen at 1 of the windsreen workshop behind the Hospital Tawakal (@ Jalan Pahang, KL. unfortunately i dun have the workshop name & contact.

Another place behind TCEAS Sg Rasah Klang, forumer enquired RM350 (may be only windscreen)
ELEGANCE PARTS STATION SDN BHD
NO.16,LORONG SG.RASAH 27,
OFF JALAN BATU TIGA LAMA ,KAW 16,
41300 KLANG,SELANGOR DARUL EHSAN
TEL; 03-33427411

Price @ KL usually more higher then out of KL, go check it out, GOOD LUCK to you.
Remember to share here after replace your windscreen.

Hi just to share info.

When get your new GL, it is advisable immediately go install aircond/cabin filter to reduce the dust from reaching cooling coil.

Many mylivina forumer use to send their GL to 1 chinese shop at Klang to install the aircond/cabin filter (Filter + Installation RM55) without open up the desk.
Shop name - PUSAT HAWA DINGIN KERETA DAN BATERI
Location - Jalan Meru (opposite pasar besar rakyat before TM or Klang Parade)

The front windscreen wiper from TC SC cost about RM130, and I can't find compatibles in any of the hypermarkets. Anyone knows where can get cheaper wipers?
*
If you are GL owner & want to use rubber type wiper, can try check out at ACE hardware shop.
Recently at Sunway ACE hardware shop, i manage to get BOSCH BE2414 (which come in 1 set with 1 pc 24" & 1 pc 14") at RM39++. If buy individual separately will easily cost more then RM50.

I notice not all ACE hardware shop outlet have this BOSCH BE2414.

ah_beng, quite sometime didn't see you posting here.
Just wonder what happens to your cooling coil till so bad physical condition..
Ever service aircond before ? the coil looks like being pressed by something till the fins bend.

If you have not install aircond cabin filter before then better install it after the cooling coil replacement, OEM aircond cabin filter cost around RM40-50, it will reduce dust from reaching the cooling coil.

Btw, where do you get the Thailand make cooling coil ? physically same size with orig ?

I checked GL stock size of 185/65R15 for Michelin Energy XM2 was RM240 and if 195/60R15 for RM250. Just asked one place in Shah Alam so don't know how good the price.

Tried Michelin with my previous Wira in 2007 at RM135, very satisfied.

Oh... I'm from Shah Alam, mind to share Shah Alam where you asked ?

yeah i just found the way to browse without registering  laugh.gif

Can our stock rims take 195/60R15 directly, I feel the stock 185s are kinda too narrow...
I was thinking of upgrading the tires but maintaining the rims
