just got back from the section14 showroom..

There is already a unit of Livina X-Gear there - 4AT, selling at 82K+

But kinda disappointed they are not offering any freebies or anything for a standard livina purchase..the SA says thats all you get with the price listed doh.gif

Has anyone ere been to any other pj area branch recently that offers any promo/discount for a standard livina?
Im looking into a 1.6MT. Thanks.

Saw an x-gear on the road during our trip in Ipoh yesterday.

SA say official launch after Raya season. Looks like only one variant - and its using silver inserts for the panels.

I have book the GL 1.8, but now still considering whether to buy the Impul Aerokit at RM1700 and the tonneau cover for RM500 or not. The aerokit seems nice but a bit ah beng sometimes look at it.. the cover for RM500 is bit too much but sadly dark tinted on the rear windows is not allowed...

Added on September 18, 2011, 2:09 pmDoes anybody know where to get a nice armrest for the GL?
*
have you check if the tonneau cover is the same color as the new interior (black) now? My SA said its supplied in the beige color ler..... so I didnt take it. I'm planning to just cover my cargo with a rubber mat and do max legal tint at the back.

If you use rubber mat, it will become more obvious, isn't it? Even max tinted with 50%, it is still visible to the outsider....
*
Well... at least can hide from direct view. but the main thing to cover would be laptop bags... I suppose if I fold up the seats.. still plenty of room to put a laptop bag at the back, the chair will hide it from view I guess.

yeah i just found the way to browse without registering laugh.gif

Can our stock rims take 195/60R15 directly, I feel the stock 185s are kinda too narrow...
I was thinking of upgrading the tires but maintaining the rims

hi, Brother i really can't find my cabin air con filter where it is hide?
*
According to some forums, there is NO air con filter installed, the hole is sealed! ! doh.gif so we have to mod it.
Bro, this is arguably one of the biggest wtf moments I have just now...

But since mine is the facelift batch.. I think I will dismantle myself and check out if the filter is there or not.. I hope it is... unsure.gif

If not its mod time...

I'm going to check out this shop tomorrow where most of the livina club members went to mod the filter last time.
Its at no 217, jalan meru, tmn bunga melor, klang. Tel : 33440450.
Goin to give em a call before I pop in to check them out tho...

so u guys also like that, mines is sort of mix 70/30 city and highway driving

any major problem encounter by current owner? mine is remote control got problem, sometimes work, sometimes dont, need to get it change under warranty...mine half tank only around 150km, dont know why, i also pump until it auto stop, so roughly full tank around 70-80RM
from my observation, i getting around 0.18cents/km
*
Not much major problems - its a very comfortable ride really - soaks up all those road bumps and imperfections.

There are some small problems to nitpick at tho

1) I drive a manual, for some reason.. you can feel the gearstick move whenever you accelerate/deccelerate. Just a small movement but I find it odd for it to mechanically transmit the movements all the way to the gearstick in the cabin. The last time I see a gearstick behave this way was in a pickup truck....

2) The aircon produces a very loud cranking sound when its first turn on, a shrieking metallic sound follows - otherwise its functions as normal.

3) And yes - why NO aircon filter?? gaaaa - i still can't get over this fact.

Half tank already net me more than 200km - not too bad.

I'll probably swap out the tires to 195s when I get the time to do so... those 185s looked tiny =_='

guys... silly question, the engine bay air filter mounting, we insert it in with the 2 protruding plastic parts facing outwards or inwards? I kinda popped it out in the dark and didnt notice the orientation until I took it up to light... doh.gif

currently i snapped it back in with the protruding parts facing inwards.. it fits, but wonder if its correct sweat.gif
