QUOTE(kernel123 @ Mar 14 2021, 07:15 AM) Yup. I agree with this Yeah. S21u here too on 2 sim. Was practically pully my hair out due to battery life. so paraniod of running out of juice...plug in 2 or 3 times a day. Home, car and office. Turn off aod and am now resisting the urge to plug in as battery life is much better! The sad truth, this even happens even on the most expensive one. S21U And yeah. Dual sim does affect the battery life. Too bad tho..cuz really liked aod! Haha This post has been edited by soundguy: Mar 14 2021, 02:59 PM |

QUOTE(touristking @ Mar 14 2021, 08:35 AM) I was wondering. Only a tiny part of the screen are lighted up with AOD. So why would it use much power? basically whole screen is ON.Only the tiny part with info is ON with bright color. Just like dark mode. Or rather Samsung S21 needs more battery to search for the optimum network when you compare to other phone. Samsung assumes our network strength is as good Korea. Unfortunately not the case. I am comparing it with Huawei of course.Too bad tho..cuz really liked aod! Haha |

I have been playing around and think Samsung's screen is pretty efficient. For example, it only takes about 5 - 7% battery to get an hour of youtube or surfing. But the standby time is bad and that's likely due to the network reception. The signal bars strength is poor. |

Been using X-One Liquid Defender + pre-installed screen protector since day one. Hell, the whole phone is a smudge attractor. Luckily I had a Spigen TG camera bump protector on.. whew! Money well spent. I often put my phone with casing on on the table, the back is uneven and it's driving me crazy. But I wish to get a camera lens protector. Is the Spigen camera protector bump work with casing on? |
