Can pretty much confirm that AOD affects the batt life tremendously.

I am using Exynos S21U, two simcards on, easily one average day with about 4-5hr SOT. By the end of the day (10p) around  20-30% battery left. I'm very happy.

Without power saving, with wqhd+  adaptive refresh rate

Easily I getting 1.5 days of usage. With at least 5 hr sot

new update with may security and camera/quick share improvements out in other regions. hopefully msia get it soon

Not normal for your usage, maybe you have corrupted firmware installed or some background apps are sucking the battery in the background. Can try to wait for the next update then clear cache partition in recovery mode. If the battery drain issue persists, have to go sc d

Well i am new s21 ultra 5G user just bought 2 weeks ago.
Sadly saying after 6 years switching from android 6 to android 11
Galaxy note4 to S21 ultra 5g

After 2 week of use i still have doubt whether this worth for the price or not. battery 5000 yet to avoid draining we had to disable all shit.

Currently my setting are

1. Set to dark mode
2. Disabled bluetooth
3. system sound and vibration turned OFF
4. 5G & 4G turned OFF, running on 3G
5. Nearby device scanning turned OFF
6. Turn on wifi automatically feature OFF
7. Detect suspicious network turned OFF
8. Display adaptive brightness turned ON
9. Motion smoothness in standard
10. Screen mode set to natural
11. Screen resolution FHD+
12. Always on display turned ON with tap to show for 10 seconds
13. Location ON
Yet i would not say it is impressive battery. Whats the point of having highend phone yet hav to adjust eventually.
Never streaming never browsing just playing with setting can drain the battery fast.

What you do, go to video mode before start recording aim to any object probably something that has alphabet in the distance of 9ft / 270cm.
Select 8k 24fps zoom to tht object 3.0 or any level observe the clarity
Select uhd 60 fps , same angle, same zoom
Then uhd 30fps, same angle same zoom

What do u see for all 3 ?
U even can test zooming while recording the same object from same angle and distance.

Exactly tht is what i want to comment about s21u front camera
Front camera excellent in photo mode..
Especially patriot.
But front camera video mode really disappointing if u shoot in uhd 60 and uhd 30.
U will see some kind of noise.

guys, i noticed that when i on the 'super steady' while doing video recording, the video quality will drop a lot.

it's only me or it's normal.

Any one else encounter issue with data dropping despite signal bar still full and showing its connected to 4g? Toggling airplane mode resolve this temporarily but will not get data after awhile. Been like this since 1 Nov security update.
