My take is to slowly upg characters. If to op then ita make the game to boring

Nah. The thing is, you cant slowly up char =D

Everything meaningful you do will increase AR exp.

When come the time, you will need to up the WL (and hence INCREASE DIFFICULTY), if not, story cannot proceed, then no point in playing.

But to up the WL, you need to prepare your char by LEVELLING UP to sufficient level; If not, once up the WL, you can't farm ascension mats, you die standing.

on the fortunate ARs that you can choose when to withhold upping WL, the AR continues to accumulate.
It only gives you a "sense" of control and temporary respite, but the game progress continues.


All in all, either you don't play,

or you spend the first 45AR literally enjoying the story AND LEVELLING UP your char to max ASAP,
while using whatever artifacts and weapons that you can scrape by during this time.

When you reach AR45, then only you will be able to kinda able to decide what to do.

Only recommend to farm artifacts starting AR50 WL7.

It's to force you to use money to buy BP or Crystals, so you can buy experience books.

if you only stick to the first 4 char you decide by AR10, then you can FTP all the way.
4 char only, up to lvl90 by AR50 while FTP, is doable.

If you're even thinking of levelling the 5th char, prepare to pay.

thats sorta subjective tho, i think the main reason why most players get stuck at the resource block is because they spent their resources evenly across their hero pool

building first team should be priority, second team after if youre going for abyss climb. the only units you should max above lvl60 after unlocking 2nd ascension talents are your main DPS, anything else is really a waste if youve limited resources.

Hahaha. For me ok geh. Support developer. Just buy BP pass and welkin pass around RM60 per month. i will buy till like those whaler. I just done my first team oredi all level 80 and will be in AR45 for a time being.

because my 1st team are MC(Aero), Ambe(Pyro), Kayea(Cryo), Lisa(Electro)

i always thought elemental reaction effect is important in this game.

elemental reaction is just part of the mechanics, it still comes down to your personal preference, some ppl get diluc but not a fan of his playstyle ends up benching him too.

with your pool, if you like playing Kaeya, his growth can be pretty good as main Physical DPS, with lisa to proc superconduct

Ningguang's growth can be pretty good too, if the next free hero selection you have no desire to choose xingqiu or others, you can just get another copy to make it c1, pair her up with double geo/pyro resonance team of your choice and shes good to go.

Xiangling is pretty underrated, she was my 2nd main dps that ive invested heavily in, you can run her as Physical or Pyro sub dps with her pyronado gouba combo, ran her with barbara alot as 2nd team.

if didn't own latest 5* hero, element reaction still be best option to go i think, ningguang de-finally good dps but need c1 at-least so her normal attack can do aoe dmg. overall none hero are terrible just matter that hero link to your taste or not cos they way to control them or use them all different.... some benefit from world exploration etc etc.

maybe pull a 5* first then consider what team to build?

those characters arent really good, but if you really want to build, ningguang C1 is a great dps pair with noelle for geo resonance. (you can get another ningguang from upcoming event)
others are meh, kaeya can also be used as physical dps for now (pair with lisa for physical res shred from superconduct (cryo + electro reaction).

so best now would be ningguang c1 + noelle + barbara + any

This one. They spend resources level up all their characters BUT they don't level up artifacts, weapons and talents.

The only one that really needs level up is the DPS.

Supports can say 20 - 30 levels below. Just max out their talents and weapon. Even artifacts can be at 0, like my Chongyun no need artifacts go in skill and leave. My Xingqiu on the other hand weapon CD cancel + fast recharge then burst for Noblesse set bonus for DPS.

Xiangling on the other hand, ouhh that one good to max out because Guoba is one great fire breathing bear!

My mona use favonius codex and I found her attack to be extremely low. But very fast energy recharge.

Can change to eye of perception? Let her atk high sikit.

i have no problem pairing kaeya with Lisa but Pyro with MC (Aero burst) deal better damage in AOE, so the MC totally not worth time and effort investing in? maybe i should get use to Kayea and Lisa electro burst more.

Noelle and Ningguang both are my favorite character now especially Noelle Geo Sheild

swirl mechanics is stronger after you get your 4pc vv set due to the resist shred, MC is not a bad unit, but with similar investment, performance DPS wise you would get better results on others, the thing with MC is his potential is still growing, alot things can change when he gets more elements unlocked. Personally feels his design is more centered towards support/sub dps.
