Because, people can want to cheat.
People had cheated.
They have the right to investigate before paying you the money.
Else, they can be an accomplice of a crime.
IF, You dont want them to investigate your claims, then dont subscribe to their service. You want to join, then hv to follow their right and those stated terms and conditions stated in your application to subscribe to their service .
You were also given a "look free" period after received the policy, a chance to cancel the subscription if you regretted having subscribed.
That is why I said I want to wait 3 years before using my insurance. Give them no chance to deny me.

Can let me know which insurance company does not investigate?
If I have a pre-existing condition, I can sign up for a policy with the company, wait 1 year then try to claim for it.
Like your goodself, I also plan to pay my premium on time and I expect when I want to claim, they have to pay out without any delays.
They should not treat me like a criminal and investigate me, because I pay my premium on time, meaning I am a good samaritan

For employees yes got some unlimited coverage. For personal nope.

Ramjade sir, that is in an ideal world. But I have family and friends, who openly claim that they applied for insurance AFTER they discovered they had some major underlying health problem. In all case, either they collude with agent/doctor and lie, or lie on their own pandai pandai. Sadly, as far as I know, all these jokers got their payouts. This was around 4-5 years ago though. It is because of these scoundrels, that the medical pool is being put under stress.
Good for them. I don't support the insurance company. company. Glad they can get paid out.

You are a shareholders of the company,.
What do you think?
Want your staffs to simply payout the claims without much screening?
After 3 yrs to make "potential" cheaters easier to cheat your money or make it harder too especially for critical illness claims?
I think he is clear. If he can come out with 6 years of data and nothing means clear.
