got a feeling this movie could be a very nice hollywood for jackie and jet. i saw the latest trailer and the director (same director with lion king) blends well with the CGI and the fighting is from corey yuen...

moreover they have 2 hot chics in the movie...

movie length is 1 hours 53 mins...

i think no matter wat, i'll support it in cinema!!

Jet Li vs. Jackie Chan... so easy...

Jackie Chan would pwn Li's as...

Why ? Did you not watch Rush Hour 1,2,3 or any other Jackie films? He could throw a chair just by laying on the ground and using his legs. Jet Li won't see it coming, as he only good at martial arts...

Jet Li is doing his thing, bending his legs and posing for an attack position on Jackie. Then Jackie hurls a giant table at Li, and Li can't quite dodge it. Smack !!!

Jackie Chan wins.

I agree.

Jackie Chan is very resourceful with the environment.

Jet Li is very good in martial art only.

Exactly. It's supposed to be set in ancient China. It's very very weird seeing them speaking english. It's the same with Memoirs of a Geisha - what's with the japanese speaking extras and english speaking leads?

I'll presume that there's no chairs or ladders or other stuffs lying all over the place for Jackie to manipulate with. If it's hands to hands combat, Jet Li definately pawns Jackie. Different story if it's set in modern time though.

Haih... I was excited when I found out that they are working together but in an english speaking movie set in ancient China? Sad to say, I might give it a miss. You guys who have watched it, please post some reviews. If it's worth cringing over the weirdness of them speaking in english, I might reconsider laugh.gif

The movie was pretty awkward ...in english, it should be in original language, mandonese. tongue.gif

Praying mantis vs druken master, I think drunken master is 'invulnerable' of pain

@ to all,

i think you guys misunderstanding on what Jet Li said.
He said he won't make a kung fu/martial arts movies based on real chinese kung fu heroes like Wong Fei Hong, Fong Sai Yuk etc etc...Fok Yun Kap was his last Chinese kung fu character he made

Jackie Chan only knows how to evade ....

Jet Li skills are truely top class martial artist....

got to agree that its awkward to have both of them in ancient time speaking english....perhaps there's twist to it?? i'm gonna watch it anyway....

RM11 for both biggest asian action stars of my time..... over my dead body if u ask me to pass it....

jet lee coz he is impervious to pain. plus dia ada no shadow kick from Fushan. he killed Donnie Yen with just a milimeter of bamboo. and as we see in THE ONE. only Jet Lee can defeat Jet Lee. this is a scientific fact!
