Jackie Chan, because he does all the dangerous stunts by himself. Look at his movies (& bloopers) during his peak.
I like Jet Li for style points. Always a pleasure to see him do his marital arts moves. |

I'd say Jackie Chan. Here's the deal. Jet Li knows real Kung Fu. Jackie Chan knows to escape and use infinite number of objects against his opponents. As Jet Li trashes Jackie Chan, Jackie picks up a lethal object and throws/kicks/does whatever to it at Jet Li with precision. Jet Li is down and out.

People tend to forget that after Bruce Lee died, Hong Kong film industry wants Jackie Chan to be the next big thing. But he failed...because no one can replace Bruce Lee as a tough martial arts actor...the "wataaa!!!" thing. So, Jackie try a different approach...comedy and action = success. Jet Li - Started as a martial arts (wanna be good, started when you're 5 years old at least) Jackie Chan - started in an acting school (martial arts, acrobatic etc.) together with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao. Me more of a Jackie Chan fan |

WRONG!
Jet Li VS Tony Jaa would be a more interesting choice. that guy can kill using his balls! just like in Tom Yoong Goong. jackie is an old fart who makes a fool of himself in Rush Hour. i cant forgive him for making Asians look dumb.. 7 years down the road and his english is still crappy......at least jet li speaks better english |

Tony Jaa is waaaay too small to be compare to how much epic Jackie and Jet are today (just my opinion).
Which is why I made the legendary comparison that: Jackie Chan vs Jet Li = Asian version of Sly vs Arnold |

sly vs arnold? exactly why this movie wont work. they are both aging. at least jet is still 44. jackie i think is over 50. can u imagine Sly and Ahnold making a movie together these days? it would be like watching Macho Man vs Roddy Piper. slow n dull.
the interesting part of this movie is how they would fit the style of both actor in one film. jackie likes Buster Keaton-esque action sequence while Jet is more intense and serious. it would be an interesting combination and experiment I still think Tony Jaa can pwnd Jackie. |

it just a movie
both of them uses real martial art, both great actor as well. jet li more on action movies while jackie chan attracts with comedy. ppl tend to said that jackie's martial art is not real, maybe because of he combines it with some funny tricks while fighting. hollywood, attraction is the main thing. anyway, hands down to both of them |

no point comparing...both from different era
anyway, The Forbidden Kingdom is not martial arts/action oriented movie....its more like a Disney-like fantasy plot targeted to family/kids. dont put high expeectations... |
