Why the bad comments? I haven't watched this film...

needless to say the Jet Li and Jackie Chan fighting scenes are the main selling point of the whole movie.....

its really epic to have these 2 biggest asian action/martial actor fighting it all out on big screen......there are not one, not even one newcomers of the younger generation to have the impact like these two.....

its just feels sad to see both of them are so old now....how long more can we see these 2 legends on big screen?

so i would say go for this movie guys.....

just watched it this afternoon at pavilion, there are a numbers of cuts/skips in the movie. From my view, i think this movie is more catered for the westerners rather than asian, the english conversation just ruin the whole show and the plot is way too simple. I'll give it 5.5/10

I also just came back from KLCC... So far so ok la... not really that bad... Liu Yifei really pretty lei...

juz came back from the show. calling it bad is an understatement
after reading all the comments here, i already did not put any expectation on the show b4 i went into the cinema. but it was so horrendous that i couldn't bear watching some of the scenes. bad acting, bad action, bad plot, bad storyline, and bad usage of good actors. and did i mention the whole movie feels very unorganized? yahoo gives C+, i give D

its quite enjoyable

Watched it yesterday.. pretty enjoyable movie though I think it would've been much much better if the movie was in chinese.
They directly translate chinese meaninful phrases and some of their lines were really corny. Overall i'd give it a 8/10.
Definitely a must watch movie this month =)

I'm a huge Jackie fan and kinda grew up watching his movies so I was looking forward to this. Sad to say that I'm disappointed. I agree with everyone that the language was really f***ed up. Looking at those Chinese emperors and stuff speaking in english was just so freaking out of place and kinda put me off. The fighting scenes were also nothing to shout about. I don't know....I guess I've watched too many Jackie/Jet Li movies so whenever theres a fight I'd be like "Bleh...I've seen better". That goes the same for the showdown between Jackie and Jet Li. I thought it was a bit too long, ok maybe it wasn't THAT long but I felt that it went on and on until I was starting to get bored.
As for the story, its a bit too...childish for a teenager like me. I'd say its more like some family adventure/fantasy movie instead of action/comedy (didn't really find it funny). Though parents might need to poke their kids eyes for a few seconds when those scantily clad women and someone getting stabbed by a sword scenes comes along.
So yeah thats pretty much it. I'd give it 2/5. I would probably watch it again just to see those hot chicks. Liu Yi Fei is just so damn fine.

The newspaper states that its uncut. I was wondering if there even is anything to cut. Do Jackie and Jet Li use foul language? Or do they actually main bontot or something?
Anyway..I heard theres a kissing between the American guy and Yi Fei. Is it true?

Pretty ok movie with certain funny scenes especially:

personally i think that part kinda ruined the show

Jet Li got do stupid things in movie before la.
Like Tai Chi Master movie, when he go cuckoo.

it was meant for the western audiences......

maybe i'm racist, but the white kid main actor kinda spoils it all

jst came back from watchin the movie.

well put the storyline aside and go in with 0 expectation.

u'll be amazed by the action (well dont expect much since both of them are aging) and the scenary, costumes and special effects will blow u off...
