always check if the vaccine is killed or modified live virus.
adjuvant free purevax by merial (mod live) is preffered for cats, and inject at leg / tail.

Thanks Basilisk. My cat is 99% indoor cat and I only have 1 cat and not planning to get another. Do you think I should get her vaccinated against this as well? Basically am looking to cover her from all know diseases which can be prevented through vaccine now.

dont put the cat at risk getting cancer at injection site.

I would recommend yeoh veterinary at pj, excellent service and not expensive, very professional. My sister cat was sick and i initially told her to go UPM but she ended up with yeoh and i must admit i am impressed by the vet there, they are able to identify the underlying problem and my sister cat is healthy now!

Honestly, based on my personal experience, its best not to buy these chinese pet food. I have bought from china via online before, and non of my cats showed any interest in the food. It ended up in the trash bin.

I have thought of raw feeding my cats before, but i gave up coz its not easy to source for hygienic raw food. You have to be very sure of the meat sources, from the moment the chicken is slaughtered til it reaches your hand, the whole process has to be completely hygiene or you will risk causing your cat a whole bunch of other health problem before nutrients imbalance happens. In my opinion, if you can be sure of the entire raw food source handling process is being done in a hygienic environment, without any risk of bacteria contamination, only then you should consider about raw feeding.

Hi Evonne, yes your concerns definitely very valid. In fact, since my last post, I've decided to partially bake the meat in the oven to kill off surface bacteria. Lisa Pierson uses this method as well!

I have for a short period of time feed my cats with raw beef meat. I bought the frozen beef meat. Defrost it using microwave.

I am going to take my feline for a 2nd vaccination this coming Saturday. Anything to look out for? And any advice?
He had taken his 1st vaccination on 12.Jan this year.

normally vet will do visual check, make sure deworm, free of fleas etc, no skin prob etc..

if possible, prevent the cats frm entering, put wire mesh on gate etc, put stuff tht make it difficult for the cat to pass,
sometimes need to do some extreme stuff.

Maaf jika saya tak biasa dengan keadaan forum.

Ingin bertanya ( maaf kalau berulang soalan ) dan cuba utk dapatkan feedback members ttg kucing sy ini. Mungkin boleh beri pandangan sedikit. Jadi sy tulis panjang lebar sikit.

Mohon cadangan makanan kering bagi kucing dewasa utk sy cuba sesuai utk yang ada masalah najis lembik kadang2 seperti saiz anak kucing.

Tidak pasti jika ada masalah penghadaman/sembelit. Vet minta pantau makanan / tukar dsbgnya. Sy selalu kecewa jika ke vet. Anyway hm sambung balik

Telah mencuba pelbagai jenama ( tidak semua ) sekarang sedang memghabiskan wono. Ingin mencuba cadangan lain yang sesuai. Mohon cadangkan beberapa.

Keadaan Najis nya tu mcm masalah pula pd saya lol. Tidak normal sebab lembik2 🤔 mcm sakit perut kah? Tapi tidak cair.

Maaf panjang pula. Sepanjang membesarkan dia sejak usianya 5bulan dan sekarang sudah 3thn lebih, dia tidak pernah melompat2 atau pancut merata-rata untuk menanda kaw dan sbgnya. Adakah ini biasa utk kucing jantan?

Nafsu kuda tapi tiada rezeki anak. Ada seekor betina di rumah sebelum ini. Tp sudah tiada 2021 lalu. Gone due to parvo. Dia murung selepas hal ini. Stress dan hilang berat badan. Kematian isteri mu gkin?

Selepas itu sy dapatkan yang baru, sempat mengawan n dpt kitten seekor now 6bulan male.

Sy dapati sejak ada anak ni, dia berak pula merata di dalam rumah ( di ruangan yang terbuka bukan sorok2) tapi hanya lakukan ini jika saya tiada di rumah.

Jika sy ada bol3h pula membuang dalam litterbox nya. Sy sudah belikan litterbox baru berikutan fikir maybe dia tak mahu berkongsi.

Hubungan dgn isteri baru n anak ok. Sebab dia ok ok je jenisnya. Tak agresif 🤭 hmm maybe isteri baru garang sikit. overprotecting. Isteri baru ni Hm baru datang sudah fikir macam semua dia punya. Kerap kena tampar setiap kali suami ingin mengawan.

So kucing sy ni, Manja tak sangat. Misteri iya. Pendiam lol. "Can call me, i purr and tergolek2 but dont pet me" type aa boleh bayang? Tengok je eh. Mcm tu lah lebih kurang.

Itulah sedikit sebanyak ttg nya mungkin ade latar belakang sikit bol3h bg sepatah 2 kata kenapa dia begini pd usia ini.

Masalah kini:
Underweight less 3.5 kg ( doc said maybe stress should be 5kg )
Kebanyakan masa tidur (mmg kerja nya)
Kurang aktif (sejak dewasa mcm ni hanya tido.makan minum poop kadang nampak membuang tp acah2 saja. Maybe sembelit?)

Sebenarnya apa.masalah yg kucing sy hadapi? Hes not happy? Saya juga bercadang utk mandulkannya jika itu dpt membantu stress nya?
