Perhaps you are aware I was looking to get a phone for the past few months. Towards end of last November, due to the lack of choice, got a Note20 Ultra. Against the Note10+ I had immediately before this, I would say the former is much better overall. Btw, both are the Exynos variant.

Then first week of this year, switched to an iPhone 12Pro Max. And this is to address your point. I had been on iOS for many years until the 7 series. After that, have been using Android. After a day of playing around with it, for the life of me, I just could not get back to the swing of iOS. You know what? Sold the phone on the 2nd day. LOL. So yeah, right you are, Apple is a different animal.

Thus, again, my antenna is out for another phone. Hence, lurking around to sponge up more information before deciding.

I was expecting more competitive pricing. For this type of pricing. I felt S20FE seems like a better deal.

Vapor chamber, graphite sheets and aluminium frames are the cores to disperse the internal heat.

But again there’s only so much passive cooling can do. When your CPU is consuming more than 5-10W of power, it may not be sufficient.
