i know i can always use my old samsung charger to charge a new phone but I don't like the fact that Samsung is removing free accessories one-by-one from its bundle.
What will Samsung remove next?
You can refer to Apple. Whenever Apple is removing something from its box, the rest of the phone manufacturers will follow soon or later.

More beautiful? Not necessary. Sharper? Yes. On paper, S20+ with higher ppi,the screen is sharper than S21+. However, not everyone can notice it with naked eyes. Some researches even showed that some users can't even notice the difference between qhd and fhd screen.

Used both before. Not sure now how good is the flagship now.
To be honest, both of these brands are equally good as Samsung in term of hardware. The only difference is the software. At the end, it depends on user's preference. If you like the operations software, then you will love the phone, or vise versa.
There won’t be queues this round, pretty sure of that That staff member is gonna get into a bit of trouble
Haha. I knew we will meet again in this thread, bro!
So I guess you will wait for price drop right? Which model you are aiming at? Ultra?
As for me, my heart asks me to change. But my brain tells me to stick with S20+/S10 lite. Lol. The battery life on my S20+ is killing me. The S21+ with 4800 mAh is really tempting! But all those downgrades....Oh the dilemma.
Exynos reputation is really tainted since last year eh saw a lot of social media post about S21, and the comment section is mostly "Exynos? Not gonna buy"
or maybe its just Samsung haters harping along the same issue like Note 7 days
Since they already apologized to the fans couple of times in last year Dec video clip and also in the latest exynos video clip. I am willing to give them another chance and believe that this time is the real deal. Don't screw it up Samsung!

Normally, we would have judged before the review, because we all knew, it's the same old exynos. But this time, we need to wait for review, for real. I guess it's a good start? Lol.
i believe xiaomi using vapor chamber , which is already considered best of class in terms of hardware handling heat, n not really the culprit
it seems more like a poor design of ARM X1 core, or lousy samsung fabs
if u understand chinese, can watch video below
Go search the video of new iqoo phone. They are also using S888 and they don't have the same problem like Mi11. So now people suspected that the culprit is on Mi11 design, or the optimization is poor. Either way, we probably won't know the real cause, until some expert dissemble the phone and check the internal. I recommend xyzone channel for that.
But now cheapest I found is RM 4,099, maybe upcoming CNY sales will drop Btw, Samsung had discontinue S20 series Last year when they introduce S20 series, they didn't discontinue S10 series
I know it's out of stock all around the world. But I am not awared that it has discontinued. Can share the news link bro?
I have watched/read couple of benchmark reviews. SD888 is better than exynos 2100. But we all knew it would be the same old thing. So no surprise there. The most important thing here is how big is the gap between snapdragon and exynos in term of performance this round. If not much, then I would call it a success.
No way exynos can win over snapdragon just in one year. That's dreaming. Of course they will have to take a longer time to achieve this. Just wait for next year and see if they will break through after AMD joining the team.
As for this year exynos 2100, I just hope that the signal reception is good, battery life is good, performance is good, then I am happy enough.

If you take a deeper look at SD888 and Exynos2100, you will realise they’re almost identical on CPU tech this year. In fact Exynos is clocked higher than SD888 cores to cores.
Qualcomm didn’t tweak much off ARM reference design this year round, hence it’s almost identical to Exynos. And to double down on the similarities, Snapdragon this year is manufactured by Samsung too, thus the previous discrepancies caused by TSMC vs Samsung fabrication should happen this year.
But again, other than the CPU, other parts of chipset may start to differentiate itself, especially the GPU and modems.
I know. But there are a few test scores showing that SD888 takes higher score than exynos 2100. Not sure if it's fake review. Even the famous Samsung leaker ice universe said that different units show different result, claiming that optimization is needed.
Anyway, I don't care about the scores. As long as the performance is on par with snapdragon, then I am happy. Lol.
My 2cents - Exynos2100 likely on par with SD888 in CPU performance this time round - they both likely sucks the same way in thermal throttling and power efficiency - exynos might even do it a tard better in thermal as Qualcomm’s new GPU is just an overclocked old Adreno on steroid, which isn’t going to be friendly to power consumption
I am ok with point 1 and point 3. But point 2!. Argh! Just hope the battery life won't screw up. If not, then no point I switch over from S20+. May just stick to it if battery life is equally suck. Lol.
The thermal throttling and power efficiency is suck compared to SD865. The phone can get very hot easily. So ya. if what happens to SD888 is true, then the same goes to Exynos2100.
The user's suggestion is stick to S20 (Korean is using SD865), only upgrade when S22 is released.
