http://salamharun.blogspot.com/2011/10/my-...jaya-mixer.htmlso far quite ok, if bread mixing up to 700gram only (previous using 1kg and the gear and rubber band broken... need to change)
i think now already more than 10 years...but only using during ramadhan/raya season and few times a year to make donut/pizza base..
but does it struggle alot? other brands make bread i heard can as long dont overkill on portion

Just notice you want to make bread dough.
Bread dough usually need high power and the knit hook(s hook) need to be strong enough as bread dough is very thick. You probably need mid range to high range kitchen mixer for it.
You can opt for SPAR as well. Bread artisan do recommend this brand for bread making.
what are mi-hi range mixers lol
so many conflicting remarks

I use a KitchenAid, it is now 15 years old and I bought it 2nd hand off a Japanese lady that was leaving the country.
I go through phases where I like baking breads and then it would be months before I do it again.
When it comes to mixers and if you would be making bread dough with it then get the best one you can afford.
The point to note is KitchenAids are expensive but due to their gearing they do better than more powerful mixers. Cheap mixers have cheap plastic gears in them. Waste of time.
wanted something that can last the test of time like if almost daily baking small portions of cookies and cakes
burnt out motors are the worst to happen zzz
