he look disinterested this season, last season he press alot, alot of goals also come from his pressing and also the way he shield the defenders also not bad for his body size... this season i feel he felt threatened by cavani... just like when we bought ibra lukaku that time, his form at the lowest form.. he is not someone who can benefit from competition i guess...

my favourite striker RVN also seldom run alot... just need to make sure he is inside the box will do... extra running is useless and sir alex also dont need him to run all over the field... lol... well of course those days u have beckham giggs and scholes supply him with alot of nice passings

RVN was damn deadly when he's inside the box. Those days many teams sought players like him that can become fox in the box. But nowadays I think most if not all team expected everyone including the striker to get involved at every part of the field.

yeah cavani is the definition of modern striker... deadly in the box... and must do extra, pressing, track back, tackling, harass opponents... banyak kerja dia kena buat.. and martial seems disinterested to do any of it

It could be instructions from ole that drives Martial's style. Remember he is now left wing. This experiment was declared success a few matches ago... against Burnley, Liverpool 2x and now Sheffield.

I was having none of it as Martial the left winger was proven a waste after LVG left. Back on the left, he seems not really an out and out winger, and looks so out of place cutting in when Cavani is there. So he is really neither here nor there.

The extra 2 touches required by him is not helping. And it is very obvious he is not sure to press or wait for the ball. In other words he is not sure without the ball and quite easy to disposses with the ball. Put it frankly, we've had 5 or 6 years of him and nothing is really happening. Time to move on.

Ole, kindly please look at your front line and tell me you have a plan. Please don't freaking buy more midfielders.

Diallo, pellestri, dunno what and who else you want to try here but without a poacher AND a Lukaku then you can forget about it.
