QUOTE(statikinetic @ Jan 7 2021, 09:35 AM) Losing against City isn't a big deal for me. counter game plan and play bruno plan? dont know why wan to start most of the first team but no bailley. then vdb in 87 mins. wan force him out? They are the more complete team even with players out from Covid while we are still building ours. The worrying part is how we approached the game. Bruno has not gotten any rest and it is only Jan. I would be worried that Ole does not know how to plan games without him. VDB got 2 minutes today. 2 minutes in a Cup game. He is literally the freshest midfielder we have and he spends most of the game on the bench. Literally Ole sending a message to Woodward, you bought a player I don't need. |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Jan 7 2021, 10:01 AM) TBH I don't see VDB has reach the kind of standard like Bruno, Pogba, Fred and Matic, we can see it from the games which he played on it. He can't play like Bruno in no.10, he can't play like Fred/Matic in no.6, the most suited place for him is no.8 currently. how can you see if he doesnt play.. 2mins doesnt count... i think his role is more like herrera role. keep the balll moving fast. he has shown that in his previous games for us.. 2 months ago? no need to do all the killer key passes. but keep the ball moving fast and box to box running. a good 8 but we must accomodate the wc winner pogba. |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Jan 7 2021, 02:13 PM) It is not time to be Ole out. On the back of one game, just no. Ole until the end of the season. We give our managers a chance. his tactic and player selection. but obviously something wrong with the defending coach... not the first time we see the ball slip past maguire and he just ball watching. At the same time, it is not the time to be giving Ole a new contract. Wait until the end of the season. This is Woodward and management being retarded by talking about Ole's contract. It was like Mou's last season where we didn't back him in transfers, gave him a new contract and then fired him later in the season. The loss belongs squarely on Ole. I hope he learns. The Maguire - Lindelof pairing means our defence line was going to be sitting deep. Look at the distance between our CBs and our striker. It is shorter and more compact when Bailly is playing because he is quick, it is deeper this game because our CBs are terrified of a ball over the top and starting a foot race. Don't blame the Mc-Fred combo. They got pulled all over the park. The CBs sat so deep with nobody to mark meant that City had lots of space to play in front of the defence. That meant a lof of space behind Mc-Fred, and a lot of space in front of them. They got played with triangles all game long. Don't blame our attackers, they barely got any supply. Bruno looked tired. Let me just say the first goal is on f*cking Maguire. It may be Luke Shaw's man scoring, but Shaw was just as shocked as all of us that Maguire just let that ball go. The ball literally bounced in front of Maguire's foot and he was terrified to touch it. Like if he does and risks an own goal, he will be the new Phil Jones. Ole's poorest atttribute is match management. He doesn't know what to do if things goes south. We saw it against RB Leipzig where he started a back 5 protected with a double pivot. We conceded 2 goals in under 15 minutes, and he does nothing to change either the defensive setup nor the positioning until deep into the 2nd half. Ultimately, we ran out of time because the change came too late. We see it again here. Our midfield has no hold on the game, and City scores in the 50th minute. We have 40 minutes to try get a result. What does Ole do? He waits until the 75th minute to make his first change. And only uses sub 2 out of 5 in the 88th minute, that's it. Our midfield could not hold on to the ball, he could've put VDB in there to rectify that. But he goes and plays VDB for the last 2 minutes. 2 minutes, is he taking the piss? We lost here because of the tactics put by Ole. He chose 2 slow CBs again, and this made Mc-Fred's task impossible. When we go down, he has no answers. He needs to learn. Again, not Ole out. But we need to recognize the source of a bad performance when we see one, and this one is all Ole. |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Jan 10 2021, 11:19 AM) If Haaland comes with Raiola, just no. We almost signed Haaland, but the deal fell through because the club did not agree to a low minimum release clause. We haven't settled Pogba, now we want to bring in another? The club is done w mino players. That wc player already cause a lot unrest and no deliveryNo matter how good the player, club comes first. |

QUOTE(KennRicky @ Jan 12 2021, 12:00 PM) Really, how bad luck can we be in this season? fa cup i think still can rotate.. priority still going to epl what.. just not sure how is the covid19 situation in uk. looks like getting worse..First, drawn with PSG, RB Leipzig in CL. Then drawn with Real Sociedad in Europa League. Now drawn with Liverpool so early in FA Cup. Wanna give fringe and young player their only playing time also cannot. Haiz. |

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Jan 13 2021, 08:38 AM) Really worried it will be a borefest if ole choose to play 3 CB bailly-maguire-lindelof and pair it with fred-mctominay. Think counter attack is the best chance we have at scoring but with our strikers not on form we will be looking at bruno. Sadly, teams already know to man mark bruno kao kao to eliminate his threat. I dont see us winning Liverpool tbh but who knows. hope to get all 3 points this weekend. btw mc if win games on hand will be 1 point behind only. and they are on mad form now For me, our best chance of winning the league is securing draws over top teams and win the rest of the small teams then hoping Liverpool will go on a bad run of form |

QUOTE(Azury36 @ Jan 13 2021, 07:11 AM) Hope Ole able to see that Bailly saving us so many times. if no maguire, then no so much mistakes liao... His quick decision covering Maguire mistakes so many times that make United defensive solid Against Liverpool, Ole needs to stick with Wan Bissaka, Bailly, Maigure and Shaw hope rashford got wear shooting boot that day.. he tend to score vs big teams.. no matter how shit or poor his decision is prior... |

QUOTE(Azury36 @ Jan 13 2021, 07:13 PM) Maguire is undroppable he is the captain, he is anchor, he is the pioneer for United defender on Ole perspective Thats the thing about rash. He can be pretty poor in final 3rd decision making and finishing for 2 3 games but big games time he somehow can get goals. From my observation la...One of the reasons United paid so much for him 80million even last night Rashford not score and play quite reserved but he creates the chances, maybe he wants to save his legs against liverpool Hopefully he turn up on sunday. |
