It is not time to be Ole out. On the back of one game, just no. Ole until the end of the season. We give our managers a chance.
At the same time, it is not the time to be giving Ole a new contract. Wait until the end of the season. This is Woodward and management being retarded by talking about Ole's contract. It was like Mou's last season where we didn't back him in transfers, gave him a new contract and then fired him later in the season. The loss belongs squarely on Ole. I hope he learns. The Maguire - Lindelof pairing means our defence line was going to be sitting deep. Look at the distance between our CBs and our striker. It is shorter and more compact when Bailly is playing because he is quick, it is deeper this game because our CBs are terrified of a ball over the top and starting a foot race. Don't blame the Mc-Fred combo. They got pulled all over the park. The CBs sat so deep with nobody to mark meant that City had lots of space to play in front of the defence. That meant a lof of space behind Mc-Fred, and a lot of space in front of them. They got played with triangles all game long. Don't blame our attackers, they barely got any supply. Bruno looked tired. Let me just say the first goal is on f*cking Maguire. It may be Luke Shaw's man scoring, but Shaw was just as shocked as all of us that Maguire just let that ball go. The ball literally bounced in front of Maguire's foot and he was terrified to touch it. Like if he does and risks an own goal, he will be the new Phil Jones. Ole's poorest atttribute is match management. He doesn't know what to do if things goes south. We saw it against RB Leipzig where he started a back 5 protected with a double pivot. We conceded 2 goals in under 15 minutes, and he does nothing to change either the defensive setup nor the positioning until deep into the 2nd half. Ultimately, we ran out of time because the change came too late. We see it again here. Our midfield has no hold on the game, and City scores in the 50th minute. We have 40 minutes to try get a result. What does Ole do? He waits until the 75th minute to make his first change. And only uses sub 2 out of 5 in the 88th minute, that's it. Our midfield could not hold on to the ball, he could've put VDB in there to rectify that. But he goes and plays VDB for the last 2 minutes. 2 minutes, is he taking the piss? We lost here because of the tactics put by Ole. He chose 2 slow CBs again, and this made Mc-Fred's task impossible. When we go down, he has no answers. He needs to learn. Again, not Ole out. But we need to recognize the source of a bad performance when we see one, and this one is all Ole. |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Jan 7 2021, 01:31 PM) Look at the replay. Maguire just watches the ball fizz past him, like he's afraid to touch it and score an own goal. Maguire does not like touching crosses if it comes in between him and the goal. Not the first time. yeah, it's like he afraid of own goal. can't blame lindeloft, he tried clear but fail. judging from this season, lindeloft is better than maguire. again another 80M pressure to play him just like jogba. there's a time maguire venture until rashford position, while all the mids behind him. really what he thinking ah.Both fullbacks tucking in again because of the slow Maguire - Lindelof pairing. Don't blame the players. No excuses. This one is squarely on Ole. first half is kinda balance though city hold the upper hand. if jogba and bruno more slick final passing, we can create a few clear cut chance on our own. bruno off game is acceptable, his off game is like 20% of the time. but jogba? almost like 50-60% of the game he played. we actually supplied nothing to forward once jogba pair with fred and mctominay out and greenwood in. vdb in last 2 mins is speechless haha. i don't think ole think he can turn it around with this sub, if he things so, he is crazy. but it's just weird for vdb, fans, and himself. but then if 2 mins pun tak ada main, vdb maybe feel worse? lol. something must be wrong in vdb that his minutes is getting less and less. really no idea lol. suddenly i thought fergie days, we use reserve team to play mickeymouse cup for experience. jlingz. now we need full guns blazing and still fail. kesian. |

QUOTE(zhou.xingxing @ Jan 7 2021, 10:17 AM) how can you see if he doesnt play.. 2mins doesnt count... i think his role is more like herrera role. keep the balll moving fast. he has shown that in his previous games for us.. 2 months ago? no need to do all the killer key passes. but keep the ball moving fast and box to box running. a good 8 but we must accomodate the wc winner pogba. Next game FA cup against Watford he will have his playing time, i think it is time to rest Bruno and Martial. |

For the FA Cup game against Watford, I really want to see Bruno rested. Give some of the players a chance to play like VDB.
If Bruno starts against Watford, I'm gonna flip. |

QUOTE(IpohGuyz @ Jan 9 2021, 01:05 AM) Players do test twice a week now. It is already a week since AV match, should be okay I think.https://www.premierleague.com/news/1814863 In the end, it is Pellistri who even not on the bench that day has tested positive. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/spo...listri-19585831 It is a waste, he should had high chance to play as a sub. If like this VDB also not getting playing time, he really should leave at least on loan, shouldn't let OGS ruin him. |

The best plan is to identify the replacement right now, and regardless of position (let’s face it, we ain’t gonna win the league this season), and replace Ole at the end of season. That should give the new manager some time and 1 window to work out an improvement plan. Otherwise we will sing the same transition song, challenge for league song, bla bla bla.
Ole HAS improved the team, since Mou. We are better than when we sacked Mou for sure. And for that we can thank Ole. But we are far from Liverpool and far from MC, right back where we started since Fergie left. And be it tactics, formations or even player selection and player signing, we are still all 2nd grade. Unless of course that is the plan all along, to just end up in top 4 every year. Which I guarantee you, I will stop watching altogether. |

He says what he wants to say without caring about the consequences but everyone already knew that way way before. You want trophies, you get the whole package with mou. |

Whenever ole lose a game, sure backlash and negativity lol. If the team is improved as we mostly agree, why can't give more ole more time until end of season at the very least. Replacing with new manager = high chance restart all over. If we win Burnley, we are top of the league when season almost halfway. What more can you ask for? All previous famous managers can't even compete no1 when season halfway.
Somehow pep able to get stones + another cb as solid def. They like clean sheet alot d. The kerbau game major difference is we got 2 joker cb vs their cb For jm his downfall is his own doing. He lost the dressing room. I don't remember many jmout tagline that time. And many fans support he banish jogba to bench except kayu 😀 This post has been edited by IpohGuyz: Jan 10 2021, 01:54 AM |
