Guess what, last Friday I went to TMpoint and inform them that I wanna migrate to Maxis since they offer 300Mbps for RM129. And you know what they person told me, she said I am still under contract till Nov 2022 and I could not terminate the line. Then I told her I just want to maintain 100Mbps with 600mins talktime without unifiTV and she said they don't have any plans for that. The thing is I upgraded to the 100Mbps with UPB for RM139 from 30Mbps previously which was under VDSL for RM119 so even though the UPB is free for me considering they gave me the rebates for the low picture quality on UnifiTV and I just minus the amount with the additional RM 10 for UPB, but I don't watch UnifiTV so thought of taking the 10Mbps at lower price but guess I am not lucky enough for that 😓 I am loyal TM customer since 2013 🙃

To anyone who intends to get counter offers from TM, you need to initiate the port out first and get a transfer ID before they will give you the above-mentioned prices. You can't just walk up to the TM counter to request. A Transfer ID must be present.

Careful this method. If that area high demand with limited port, you port out. Then get transfer ID on hold status because full port. Then good luck.

For me 1st time I went I just say want to port out and they give me offers
2nd time I went, he didn't even ask if want to port out or not. I just said I was offered RM129 for 300Mbps and he said ok 

1st time i was actually on the way to port to digi, then they offered me those stuff, so went back home to consider their offer and read online reviews etc
2nd time, just told them and they just registered for me, no questions asked
