I'm also experiencing bad connections lately for the past two weeks. Probably heavy load from online classes.

Guys try report to MCMC.
Report to TM,they are not going to fix it...

(Remember to attach traceroute and ping result and also tell them happens every night only)

Any good vpn that can route china server smoothly?

U may search something call "回国ssr"
Or u may try this called "ChinaTunnelVPN" which also using Shadowsock protocol. (This vpn more specific for connect china online service like iqiyi or qqmusic or something else)

I think there is no good VPNs that would help you solve this TMnet issue anymore. Everyday during nighttime or shits, ALL of the CDNs (cloudflare, fastly, you name it) that runs through equinix get fks up big time. 500ms - 700ms of latency, all cloud providers in Malaysia and Singapore suffers the same problem for TMNet

Actually self-built vpn is possible to get better connection,but need more money for rent server or vps or cloud server...

Example:
AlibabaCloud DC MY
Exabytes Cloud MY
Amazon LightSail SG
Azure SG (Peering with TM so good connection all of the time)
GCP SG (Peering with TM so good connection all of the time)
LeaseWeb SG (VPS can only get from leaseweb reseller)
Hostens SG
NewMediaExpress SG (This seems like got peering with TM so connection quite good)

Those DC is currently good connection with TM unifi at least for today night.

seem they ignoring the issue.
i suspect TM are throttling over certain connection via Equinix and SGIX from 8:45pm to 11:30pm.

i tried use myren looking glass to do ping and traceroute it seem normal ping to Equinix and SGIX range 15ms to 25ms.

above this provider of cos they have no issue due they pay for peering fee's back to TM even they connection routing back via Equnix or SGIX or another way round.

what content you looking in china?

I dont think that is throttling.
It just overloaded,how come even local connection also crap like this.
So just unifi internal connection overload.

all public vpn are useless nowdays if you are using TM.
the only way is to built own vpn server that have low latency between TM and to run and use it ourself.

Yup,so pay additional money is also a alternative solution.
But so far for my usage,i dont really facing big problem so i just dont care about unifi crap issue,even i got problem i just try multiple vpn and set the best vpn for the specific ip route on my mikrotikrouter.
Thank soonwai for bringing me into Mikrotik World,but i am going to wait for the "RB5011" come out and get it as my new router. (Current RB750Gr3 vpn connection very slow...sad )

TM have 200Gbps to Equnix and 20Gbps to SGIX

i can't imagine they can have such high usage on this hour for this pipe overload not even Maxis or Time to have such overload.

unless it was throttling

I mean unifi internal network overload,maybe the 200gbps is distributed to 20x10gbps port,and they only allocated 50gbps for unifi connection all of the time.
So when night,most user starting to connect here connect there,and that 5 port is highly utilized or maybe the router is overload or something else. (How come this problem already few years and they never add more capacity,so i dont think they limit the capacity only at night)
You see even TM to MYIX also whole day cant get fully stable connection.

But i can confirm this 100% network overload,even Maxis also getting bad connection than last year.

if internal network overload it would affect all connection back to Equinix / SGIX.
how come certain provider who using Equinix/SGIX are not affected at all i just wondering and even both way traffic are same.

unifi to MYIX only using 10Gbps pipe AFAIK the rest 40Gbps is not under Unifi network.. is for VADS Enterprise.

Hi guys, I upgraded from 100mbps to 300mbps with free mesh wifi last week just before the Raya holiday. How long does it take for u guys to receive the mesh? I went to TM point here in Miri they said they don't have mesh wifi since it will only be posted by the TM HQ in WM.

People in WM mostly receive within few days to a week. But do keep in mind that raya holiday plus EMCO time, postage from WM to Sarawak could be severely delay. Do you receive email on the tracking number?
