Well here's discord forcing US Central, about 200 to 300ms with spikes to nearly 1k that chop up the audio
over ipv4, ipv6 is disabled, connection via 2.4ghz wifi with stock maxis router, public ip, 121.122 range

as for pinging Cloudflare SG (IP from connecting to WARP, making note of IP used by WARP then pinging it after disconnecting)

Oh and Cloudflare KL has been down for like forever, i remember noticing it was down back in Febuary, all i can find are a few dead forum threads mentioning it on cloudflare community but that's it, who knows when it will ever be fixed

And for cloudflare,dont ping warp ip,not the same server for cdn.
Try ping a random cloudflare cdn based site,and u will see the ping.

Maxis recently also having abit affected from mco(maybe raya holiday more serious only),i know some people also got problem with MyIX at night.

Just that I'm using ssh on my phone cause I'm too lazy to boot up my computer

You need to unplug the fibre cable before powering it on to access it ircc, as it receives configs from the OLT to disable the web page, and also that's where the speed config is set ircc.
EDIT: this might be wrong, try 1.254 or 100.254


Also, do not use the root/adminHW password printed on the modem, use telecomadmin/admintelecom, this shows more options.

Do not look at the fibre btw, it's laser and it can blind you.

I think @Anime4000 knows better (sorry I don't know how to mention someone on lowyat forums)

Should note that there's a limit on how many splitters they can use before the signal gets unusable, so if your area is already heavily split then there's not much they can do unless they drag another new cable.

If they do it anyway, request the technician to check the reading before installing, if it's around the 25 to 26dbm range it's bad and should not proceed, you will have connection issues.

This modem isn't listed on Unifi's page but I think I've seen this modem some pages back

Edit, found it, post #2233, but even odder, as they have a Huawei modem with FibreHome router...

So new modem? Cost cutting?

Well, it is a Chinese brand and that's about it in terms of info.
They specialize in making these

Brand name wise there's not much to say, they're definitely not as well known as say, Huawei.

Just hope it works I suppose.
Technically you can replace the ONT on your own but you will have to reconfigure...
If it works I guess you just leave it be.

Maxis seems alright but I have not done intensive tests, also I'm using Maxis Fibre on Maxis Infra which is rarer compared to Maxis Fibre on TM Infra. Not sure on if there's a performance difference between those.

Poking over here for a bit again..

With total lockdown just announced, more people are gonna stay at home.
Which means network usage is going to increase, again.

Wonder how that's gonna affect Unifi.

Fairly certain due to their current infrastructure (using a lot of splitters) it's not possible for them to offer this in the near future

Replace the wifi card inside the laptop (upgrade to one that supports 5ghz)
or USB wifi adapter that supports 5ghz (please do not buy those unbranded ones)

With that said some laptops prevent upgrading of the wifi card inside and will refuse to boot if it detects a change
