unfortunately thats their processing sop! generally  from experience it reaches customer around 10 days. But the upgrade itself is done within a day or two. You could check your speed once the activation is completed

Reason is ----and I'm not sure if the line or router problem, but my connection would drop for no reason for a few miliseconds randomly. And some MMO game I play without any problem before on VDSL suddenly would disconnect after like 3 minutes.

Hi, yesterday unifi installer came to install 800mbps package for my shop. Upon first tm speedtest using iPhone 11 Pro via 5ghz connection I only manage to get around 300mbps plus download and 100mbps plus upload. The technician told me it’s normal since I am not using the latest device. So today I brought in my ps5 and connect via CAT 6 cable directly to the router, with no any other concurrent connection (wired or wireless). I get a speed test result of 600mbps plus download and 100mbps plus download. Just wondering is this suppose to be the speed I am getting from the package? Please refer to the photo attached and any advice is highly appreciated, thank you!

You have sharp eye, the uploaded photo of speed test is captured using iPhone 7. Herby I attached the screenshot of speed test of my iPhone 11 Pro at close range. Basically no difference😂
So I should be contented if my AC 5ghz speed can hit a 500mbps I guess, even though I am expecting higher. I have contacted my unifi installer telling them if they can bring their “lastest device” to do speed test at my router and if they can hit close to 800mbps, I will let thing pass. After hearing this, the technician told me he will be bringing me a new tp link router and test again for me tomorrow, if every thing goes well, I can keep the tp link router for the time being until my M9 mesh Wifi come in. Thanks again for explaining to me and I really appreciate all the advice given. Let’s see how it goes and I will update here again!

switch to which one?   I think the only possible would be time, maxis by default private ip and only if u submit a reasonble request. Digi, celcom, allo all private ip by default

rip. such a shame. I remembered using cf dns with constant 4ms and been my unquestioned default in the last three years.

Only recently when I switch to new ISP I bothered to check it again, and surprised it went 13ms  .

I always perceive quad9 as the most trustworthy of popular dns servers out there. But when I use it on Digi few months back it could get flaky sometimes, like one every 50 requests won't resolve in first try. You should try it however.

In trying alternate-dns currently. 5ms but not very sure how stable it is yet. Has as blocking baked in but no fancies like dnssec.

For almost a week now, my connection speed test jump to 300mbps from 100mbps. Tested using Ookla and Fast, either by wifi and cable connection.

They can't provide symmetrical speed for even 500mbps and below. What do you guys think upload speed will be for 2gbps? 500mbps upload?
