i will not consider this a full fledge ergonomic chair, since the seat depth (the part you sit on) is fix and not adjustable...

did you actually get the leap? asking because i just bought 1 brand new for 2.3k but have to wait 3-4 weeks for production. the price does sound a bit too good to be true given the retail price.

Ebibca. Office chair store in penang, somehow stumbled upon their website. Looks like they have been in the business for many years now.

The website says its in stock, but they email me after payment saying have to wait production up to 4 weeks.

which one? from the website i'm seeing v2 and v1, they both looks very basic in term of adjustment. there is a lumbar contour, but can't say if it will be good or not.

so far after researching about chairs for a month now and try and error buying ergonomic chairs, i think my litmus test for a good or not good chair is the seat depth adjustment. without that, I can say it's a no buy.

Alterseat one can adjust seat depth. Doesnt look the same.

Cant say if the doyoung/sihoo is good. I only used a rebrand sihoo m57. The lumbar support doesnt do anything to me. But the mesh is good.

If you're looking chair for back pain, need to find more expensive models.

Looking for a comfortable chair under 1K. If there's a shopee shop even better can see reviews. If it's a chair that you've personally used that would be perfect.

Lately my back is killing me so I need a good chair that can handle my weight and feels steady.

I don't really have time to go and test. It's a gamble I know but if you can help me reduce the risk of me buying a bad chair that would be awesome.

I'm afraid buying new for 1k is too much of a gamble. You can never really tell a chair is good or not until you sat on it for like a full week.
I got back problem, worsen because new office chair is super crap. I think to date I must have spend like 4 or 5k finding the chair for me.

My current favorite chair is Okamura Contessa so far. Bought it used on fb marketplace in decent condition. I liked it better than my brand new Steelcase Leap.

For 1k, I think you will have better chance getting a good chair from used market. Currently I'm seeing few Haworth Zody listings at good price. I would probably have bought them, but I already have 2 chairs.
