Any affordable ergonomic chairs for recommendation? Below RM300. For long hours sitting on it while working.

Thinking of getting steelcase think v2. Is it a good option in MY? Or any better option within that price range?
Something mesh so it's cool at the back.

Also does leap a good step up than think v2?

I use the Think V2 at the office, its a nice and comfortable chair. The mesh back does provide better airflow but this is in an aircon environment.

No difference. I didnt try to nego but I don't there's much room for it. SINC is heavy though as the back skeleton of the chair is steel rather than plastic like most chair. I didnt like the arm rest that much. I think motion is the best balance between comfort and support but the lack of headrest maybe a consideration for some. I think they decided to not include the headrest because of the way the chair move when you rest up. The seat and back are a connected mechanism which may cause your head to be out of position when the back is lowered down. Perhaps they should make the back taller so that taller people would have a more comfortable headrest when resting.

go test it out especially the seat. looks very flat and it can be uncomfortable for different people, and see if the foam is solid/ durable enough. I have not tested the m102c but the similarly priced ikea markus seat feels very solid at the same price, maybe you should go and test it out for a better comparison

Thanks for the input. I am 165cm and weigh 103kg. Markus is too tall for me.
As you said, the foam is really too soft. I also checked out the other chairs in Aitsulab with foam but i feel it is too soft.
SiHOO M57 is mesh seat but i felt it is too hard and rough

I also went to Merryfair and Alterseat.
Merryfair chairs recommended to me was Tune or Fulkrum model at RM950 or RM800 seat was ok but the armrest is very stiff.
Alterseat has the most comfortable seat for me for their chairs below RM1k but the warranty is less at only 2 years.

Any1 have experience for SPACE - Essential Ergonomic Seat? Now they seem to have promo rm120 less for their chairs.
Probably try to visit them if they are comparable to Alterseat CG-07 or DT-10.

Anyone has opinion or can compare Alterseat cg prime and Niture pillo lite? Tried both on their showroom, pillo's lumbar support is much stiffer, thats why i opt for pillo lite. Coming from rm200 office chair with no lumbar support, both seem amazing to me

Hi, what did you buy? Did you try out the Space chair also? Thinking of buying the Space Ergo Pro, RM1199. But I'm hesistant cause there is no showroom here in Sabah for any of the ergonomic chair provider.

No, haven't. Waiting for that guy to respond also. But if I were to buy blindly I'll go for Space.

Correct me if I am wrong but last time I checked which was about 1-2 years ago, space chairs are just rebadged sihoo chairs which are more expensive.

Do your due diligence ya.

The first version of space ergo chair is almost exactly similar to Sihoo M57. But the ergonomic pro version (newer one) more flexible compared to M57 (can adjust back height, seat, 4d armrest).

Ive visited Space and Aitsulab showroom yesterday. Space ergonomic pro is basically same with Sihoo M57 except for several additional flexibility (can move the seat forward and backrest upward). Material also almost same. Both are good and comfortable enough for its price but if you dont need the extra functions can just buy M57 because it has the foot rest option and cheaper.

I ended up buying Sihoo Doroo c300 btw. Pricier but more comfortable and i like the narrower seat more as Im only 5'3 56kg. But C300 is not suitable for taller and fatter person. I think you should try first before blind buy but space ergo/M57 is safer choice if you still wanna blind buy because the design is quite universal and can suit wider range of body type.

Thank you so much for the update. I have similar height and weight and yes often the seat that made the different. All the gaming chair I bought have big and/or wide seat that made seating quite uncomfortable. I've looked at C300 before but the chair lacks a number of spec that I wanted. Anyway, thanks again. Also let us know what you think of the chair after few weeks of using.
