u must first download and install PHM Regedit on ur device.

guys, are u facing problem with the keyboard where some buttons are not really responsive? if not, what rom and radio are u using?

I'm using official wm6

I got the same keyboard problem after using it for nearly 11 months. Not so responsive and have to press slightly harder

Took a trip to SIS. Waited 2 hours. They changed the keyboard, and problem solved! Now no more problem

were u able to show the technicians the problem when u were at sis..... or did u have to keep on compaining to them to fix the problem...my dopod pro also having problems with keyboard ....

mine out of warranty already any problme will be my fault............dont know if sis will layan or not le??

No I didnt show to anyone there nor complained. Just submit over the counter and she brought it in

My keyboard wasnt that serious but so happy they changed it for me. That time my warranty left 5 days

Now my keyboard good as new and pressing is so much better

Do you guys know where I can get this ? I want to use other earphones with my unit. Found a lot of this converter for other phones but I don't think they would work with Dopod 838 Pro.

Took mine to fix keyboard problem also. was having problem pressing A, C and E so took it in ti HTC Care at lowyat.. Changed it and now so much better.. haha..

I have encountered occasions where I press the Messaging button, slide the keyboard out and then realise it won;t work. I can't get any response from ANY hardbutton on the device. So I use the stylus to CANCEL, go back to main menu, slide keyboard back in and re-try. Most of the time it will work for me..

This is definetly something handy. Seen it at Lowyatt Plaza yet? My handfree severely lacking BASS.

I just went last week friday. They changed it without asking me anything

I don't believe this at first, but I download the Super D-Lite rom anyway and flash my unit. Damn....this rom is fast .....Super fast
But it lacks those bling - bling stuff like HTC Home & Audio manager. So I pimp it up a little bit, Kaiser style

This is what I add after flashing:

i) Kaiser HTC Home Plugin with Colored icons
ii) Kaiser Audio Manager
iii) Kaiser 3G Dialpad
iV) Blimskey (one touch typing SIP, the best one I've used. Never miss a key )

It's best that you install HardSPL if you want to install 3rd Party ROM
