QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 17 2021, 04:26 PM) Congrats! Dont forget to extend the warranty. Just buy online bro. MCO, cant go anywhere also. I'm looking for the dual sense dock. Since it already costs rm169, might as well I get a second dual sense at rm369? While one is charging, the other could be used to play. We are under CMCO here in Kuching haha. Which online store do u plan to get the dual sense from? Delivery to East Malaysia is very2 slow nowadays, the last item I bought online reached here after 3 weeks using GDEX, stuck in KL because of the very limited flight to East Malaysia.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 17 2021, 04:41 PM) Oopss... I forgot Sarawak is in CMCO. It's pretty bad down here. I'm sure you read it all in the news infection rate is at all time here in West Malaysia especially KL and Selangor. Safest would be to buy from Sony online store or its dealer Sony stores on shopee/lazada bro. I'll monitor those stores but as of now, it is not available. Do update if u find any online store that has available stock. Yeah stay safe bro, luckily you already have the ps5 to kill time at home This post has been edited by perky: Jan 17 2021, 08:32 PM

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 23 2021, 04:49 PM) Expensive HDMI cables dont really make much of a difference to normal ones contrary to popular belief bro... Getting a normal, decent one would suffice. One with mentions Ultra High Speed HDMI. Thank you Mr. President Previously I never bother to get the expensive one such as Belkin, just not too sure about the new HDMI 2.1. I found in lazada, Ugreen is going for RM30 to RM45 depending on the material for 3 meters. Anyone here using the ugreen hdmi 2.1 cable? This post has been edited by perky: Jan 23 2021, 05:02 PM

QUOTE(tracktion3 @ Jan 23 2021, 05:01 PM) I would suggest to get hdm 2.1 certified. Pay a bit more to feel better. I bought Zeskit as it was reviewed by HDTVTEST. The one I got from China. Tested with my Sony X90H. No problem.playing COD 4K at 120fps. https://shopee.com.my/product/227263369/475...52-1611392382.9Someone purchased and claim expensive. Didn't say is ori or not. The box didn't come with the hdmi certificated logo like the one from Amazon. But then box and content and everything else exactly the same. Since I tested it with no problem with hdmi 2.1 tv. I think this is safe. Interesting, how fast is the shipping and the build quality for the cable?

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jan 23 2021, 05:09 PM) Actually, expensive does not mean scam. This is what I used to think too, because the consensus is if it works, it works since it's a digital transmission - right? Nope. Over time, after building a home theater... I realize that there is no choice but to buy HDMI cables that are higher price for long runs. This is because you need higher gauge copper and also fiber optic (usually consumer grade cables use monofilament plastic) for the long lengths needed to reach the projector on the ceiling. So no, to say that expensive HDMI cables don't make a difference is untrue. There is no choice to but to pay for expensive ones because they are the only cables that will work if it's long, more so when it comes to these 48gbps capable cables. There is of course a limit of how much you should pay for though. Which brand would you recommend for this 3m hdmi 2.1? The zeskit is going for RM188 for 3m

QUOTE(low98944 @ Jan 25 2021, 01:54 PM) Kuching Vivacity Sony Centre got stock for Dualsense. 2nd batch also collect today. Ah nice, any other accessories or games that are available there? Do you know how many units did they allocate for the 2nd batch? Seems like a lot of my friends in Kuching are still waiting This post has been edited by perky: Jan 25 2021, 02:22 PM

QUOTE(greyshadow @ Jan 27 2021, 08:21 AM) Seems the PS5 stocks are starting to get normalised, many smaller game shops that I know that weren't allocated any units during the first few batches are now allocated few units each, meaning Sony they have more stocks now to distribute to smaller game shops rather than their official or bigger game stores. But being still rare it is, some of those game shops actually using forced bundle tactics to sell them at retail price, like you'll have to buy extra controller and the basically useless remote control So those wanting to get one? have some patient and wait for few more weeks the most I think, it will be yours very soon can't wait to see all those scalpers scrambling to slash their price by then Are you talking about Game Mania in Kuching? Haha. Saw on FB they have 4 units but like u said, bundle with extra controller, remote control and two games. It was sold out a few minutes after they posted it on their FB page. Another game store in Kuching has been collecting pre order (by batches as well) since before the pre order open for Malaysia, they said its local stock, I have no idea how and where they get their stock from. QUOTE(Kahlamx @ Jan 27 2021, 09:38 AM) GH open in kuching dy? Actually I am not sure how much margin for console in malaysia, but in US they make really little margin only even for big retailers with volume. Games and accessories margin is higher. Sorry it’s Game Mania. A local game store here in Kuching This post has been edited by perky: Jan 27 2021, 09:46 AM

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 27 2021, 12:07 PM) I am pretty sure some resellers or their agents are hoarding stocks for resale. So rather than scalping them directly, these sellers are selling PWP with other accessories to make extra profits out of them. Stocks are not getting normalized anytime. Even after pumping so much stocks to the US markets, scalping is still rampant which means stocks are still not adequate. Don't even need to mention the Malaysian market and the rest of the world which have yet to launch their PS5 yet. Is the margin on the accessories and ps5 games higher than the console itself? QUOTE(Kahlamx @ Jan 27 2021, 12:12 PM) Go to game mania Kuching Facebook. See how much games and accessories you need to buy. Minimum bundle rm3.2 k. Lmao Ya bro, but still better than GH's pwp tho as you get to choose which game you would like to buy. If me i don't mind the extra controller and the two ps5 games which is mile morales and cold war, as for the media remote pretty pointless haha.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 29 2021, 03:27 PM) To make you take 2 years. Mr. President, do you think its worth it for us senq/senheng boys to purchase the extended warranty from sony? As my membership is not the citbank membership, i only get 2 years warranty, basically we are paying RM150 for the warranty for another extra one year (3rd year).

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 29 2021, 09:48 PM) Mr VP, all SenQ bois if they have SH Plus One membership when time of purchase will get additional 1 year warranty on top of the standard one year warranty. It doesn't matter if you have Citibank cards because its only additional 1 year warranty for now. So Sony 1 year warranty + 3 months extended warranty + 1 year SenQ extended warranty = 2 years warranty. For me I think 2 years warranty is adequate enough already. Going to save the rm200 on buying games instead. Eh I thought the plusone citibank membership gets 2 years extra warranty instead of the 1 year extra warranty for the normal membership, haha. Ya true that, better save money to buy another game

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Feb 3 2021, 02:26 PM) To be honest, this cny promotion is not good enough. At least give some discounts on the exclusive PS5 games la. I thought they would offer discount for Miles Morale and Demon's souls. Lol. Demon souls was never on sale since release, as for miles morales, if i'm not mistaken it was on sale in December. 2020 AC:Valhalla is selling at RM174, slightly cheaper this time around as it was selling at RM199 from the last sale.

QUOTE(Kahlamx @ Feb 3 2021, 04:03 PM) madefaka, i bought my valhalla together with my 2nd batch ps5 mid jan for rm209. Now Rm174 It was selling at RM199 in the December sale haha QUOTE(Anonymous26 @ Feb 3 2021, 04:04 PM) Miles morales also never on sales before, can check on psdeals.net for price history. For me, the only game worth full 70 USD is demon soul, the rest is pretty meh. Miles morales is basically a DLC bundle with original game but selling at 70 USD, lol. Not to mention the Original Spider Man currently on sales for only RM60. The remaster feature alone doesn't worth the full fat price, Sony is getting greedy. Btw, don't expect any sales for these PS5 exclusive anytime soon, PS5 stock is still pretty limited everywhere, Sony can sell more of these games when the console become widely available. True that, even Godfall was never on sale since release also

QUOTE(low98944 @ Feb 9 2021, 03:30 PM) Just apply for Sony 1+ 2 years warranty, but they charged me RM240 for 1 + 2 years (1 + 1 year is RM200), is it price increase or because my location is Kuching? This is from Vivacity? Read in one of the comment who bought it from Vivacity in the PS5 FB group last month, the price was still RM150.
