You can receive the item, then return it raising a dispute citing reason item doesn't match ad description provided you have proof of advert and purchase is R3. Lazada will refund accordingly although it takes time.

I guess it's another way of stopping the sale of faceplates by third parties.

Anyway, removing the faceplates would definitely constitute disassembling your console and according to the warranty terms and conditions, that would void your warranty.

I wouldn't risk it if my console is still under warranty. Sony CS could easily reject your claims

Some still do bundle games and dual sense to console purchase. Well, problem is many are still willing to buy from them because it's still way better than buying from scalpers.
