I am pretty sure some resellers or their agents are hoarding stocks for resale. So rather than scalping them directly, these sellers are selling PWP with other accessories to make extra profits out of them. Stocks are not getting normalized anytime. Even after pumping so much stocks to the US markets, scalping is still rampant which means stocks are still not adequate. Don't even need to mention the Malaysian market and the rest of the world which have yet to launch their PS5 yet.

Ok la bro... better than buying the console directly from Scalpers at Rm3.5k and get nothing. Dont get me wrong I'm definitely against these kind of greedy resellers. But because its so hard to get stocks for the PS5 that buyers are resorting to buying these sets.

I don't think so. But with the additional accessories and games, sellers would be able to make the sale and clear their existing stocks.

With so many games to download, I really need a external ssd...

Oh... So games installed on the SSD can't be updated directly? What error message pops up? If that is the case then a bit troublesome then because need to transfer back to console for updates each time.

Yup... better be safe than sorry. Better not leave it on standby mode. IINM Sony already stated that they wont honor the warranty if the console bricks while connected to an external drive.

That was what I was made to understand. Do correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, if you plug in an external SSD it would only support PS4 games for now, not PS5 games.

Yes. The M2 expansion would be the main concern here as we would be playing more PS5 games once more PS5 specific games are launched.


Btw, Sony technicians could easily detect if any external drive has been connected to their console before. Remember everything is online data and so is data logging.

Mr VP, all SenQ bois if they have SH Plus One membership when time of purchase will get additional 1 year warranty on top of the standard one year Sony warranty. It doesn't matter if you have Citibank cards because its only additional 1 year warranty for now.

So Sony 1 year warranty + 3 months extended warranty + 1 year SenQ extended warranty = 2 years warranty.

For me I think 2 years warranty is adequate enough already. Going to save the rm200 on buying games instead.

Even at homeground of Sony in Japan there is still a shortage of stocks of the PS5.

Grand Turismo 7. Yes, targetted this year.

I have turned off HDMI link, so I will wake the controller to start up my PS5 everytime. No need to power it on through the console.

I'm not too sure if the PS5 version will appear if you never logged on your ID into a PS5 before..
