FINALLY joined the cool kids club!

Bought it for RM2994 in New Zealand a few weeks ago, and also two DualSense controllers for RM252 each.

It will be very interesting if Sony enables cross buy between pc and ps.

Great for those who wanna play timed exclusive first on PS hardware.
Then when it’s released on pc, can replay it with mods or maxed out graphic settings.

games normally are not region locked, except some DLC from PSN. mainly because of claim of warranty or repair only.

I think this is highly dependent on the size of the display you're using. The graphical refinements is very subtle for most games.

no PS5 comes with pre-installed games iinm. except you go to PSN store... there will have some F2P games, probably online multplayers kinda games.

Don't all PS5 console come with Astro's Playroom pre-installed?

From what I am seeing (as a PS5 Pro owner myself), even though with crazy discounts, it is not worth the top up but if you are keen to explore, best is to wait next year once they upgrade their PSSR upscaling tech then can reconsider. The current cream of the crop Pro patched games, most of them are dissapointing with PSSR. Only a handful of devs did an excellent Pro implementation on their games. Hardware wise best to have a TV/monitor 4k 120Hz with VRR features.

Astro's Playroom is a GREAT game, one of the best platformers I ever played... and this is a genre I dislike.

I loved it so much that I went out to buy Astro Bot!

It's still the best demo of the DualSense controller's capabilities.

I halve only played 44 mins so far on 'the last of us part 1'. coz of buying the pS5, now i have an issue of getting a new TV. lol

Gaming monitor also good for PS5 🙄👍🐝
