For me the SSD for PS5 is just too expansive ...... 2tb price is equal to ps5 digital version price oooo....
For me the upgrade is not worth it. Better just delete the game you rarely play and keep the one you actively play.

I managed to grab a Aorus 7000s 1TB ytd from M4G for RM809.
2TB abit off my budget.. hahah
But just curious, do I need to update the firmware of the SSD too? I've checked reviews on YT, their average speed around 6k-6.5k(advertised speed is 7k) upon first formatting the SSD but mine is 5.8k-ish upon my first format.
Then I reformat and get 5.3k and my 3rd format it went back to 5.8k speed.
Does it matter? I tried playing off some games on SSD, so far it works well.. just curious...

What to do ya? i already complaint to the seller (econova shop at shopee) and he said the speed should be around 3000 MB/s for PS5...

I saw from FB group, some guy sharing read speed on ps5 5600 MB/s. But that was like few months ago or perhaps a year ago. Not sure.

Bought the PS5 today at retail price. Horizon Forbidden West PS5 console + 1x extra controller (burgundy) + Final Fantasy Intergrade (game disc). All in RM3189.

It was the last unit. I'd reckon someone pre-ordered it and ended up not buying it at the end. Got an extra free PSN+ 3-month subscription card also. Well, finally made my purchase after two years+ of waiting.
