As long as I still see both preorder confirmation from email and website account, I’m good. I don’t mind they delay it. As far as I know, those who have received call and “acknowledged” their cancellation, next they receive email for refund which is not about putting your order to second batch. This could be their SOP.

Next you can negotiate again for second batch or refund. After refund then maybe look somewhere else. I’m just guessing. I never wanna experience the hassle of walk in PO.

Delivering more stocks to resellers while cancelling customers who have paid for pre-order. Great job to Sony.

Yeah, it’s pretty obvious by now that companies don’t really give a shit about our country. Customer protection is weak af. Singapore is their only priority and I think we would not have even gotten stock this year if Malaysians didn’t complain. Just look at how rushed and last minute their preorder announcement was.

They regularly replenish their stocks. I got my Amazon order in at 7 am lol. Pretty sad that these consoles are made in Asia but US gets first dibs. It’s not like there’s no demand here.

Those of us who pre-order online has priority over those who pre-order on the next day at Sony store. It's a simple chronological events.

Sony's BUSINESS DECISION to fulfill their walk in pre-order which happened later than the online pre-order, while delaying or even cancelling online pre-order is unlawful and breach basic consumer rights.

We can bring Sony store manager to consumer tribunal.

What's the price you got it from bro? I am also aiming at this monitor. But the current price is Rm,1700-1800. Almost same price with my PS5 digital. Hopefully the price will drop next year....

RM1700-1800?? i think that one is EW3270U i did not get that coz of TN panel i believe (If not mistaken).. i got the EW3280U for RM2900 i believe.

So yours is EW3280U which is IPS panel. Nice. And no. EW3270U is actually VA panel. I prefer VA panel due to its inky black.

The BenQ model seems easier to get in SG compared to LG though.

Might need to go to the physical shop and look at it if there is one demo unit.
