I just call Harvey Norman 5min ago just now, if you are able to preorder it, the tentative ETA is still 11th Dec 2020.
He said unless got any surprise or notification from Sony then they will let know.

If everything ok then the date will follow ETA 11th Dec 2020.

Why the hassle to sell your ps4 so fast? 1. PS5 is not yet reach your doorstep. 2. You never know whether the PS5 got any issue or not.

Better wait for the moment you get your PS5. Test everything until you are satisfied. Then only sell your ps4. If anything bad happens, you still have your PS4 to company with you.

And don't worry. PS4 still have 2-3 years life cycle to go. You will still be able to sell it next year.

I called my sales earlier to check too. Pretty much same respond. Confirmation in first batch. And the date is dec 11. I would say it’s safe. Of course maybe delay one or two days due to shipment is a possibility.

Everyone really wait till last minute only want to preorder.

Knew this would happen, me and my mates already told our regular game shop to lock a unit in for each of us since April, even before we knew how the console even looked like lol

Wednesday night checked with game shop again just to confirm preorder and the model we are taking and all set.

Now just to wait till 11/12. Can't wait.
