Theoretically, yes.
However, it is said that lithium ion battery will have better lifespan with constant charge-discharge.
Let's experiment with this and see how it goes until the last day I own it.

His sharing from 2020 really spark a bit excitement in me, to consider upgrade my INTEL Macbook Air to this M1 MBA.

time flies...my M1MBA also from JAN 2021. now have the same battery health as yours. maybe it is not much to do with the charge cycle but the how many years it charge/discharge.

anyway, i just place order for M3 MBA. going to pass this M1 MBA to my relative.

my battery count for my MBA since May 2021. not something i am proud of cos it mean underuse. and it is on 16gb ram. only thing is that is 256gb.
not heavy user of storage as i rely on a lot of cloud storage. will it slow down the machine if the storage space go down? i am currently left with 130gb of storage. love this machine for its portability still

how u maintain the battery health with such cycle count?

honestly i dunno. my best guess is that it is under use and cos i used to have co lappy. until only the last 9 months where the MBA is my daily driver
other time i just keep it plugged in to the charger or to my monitor - USB C > DP.

now mba m1 price has dipped below rm3k, still a good buy for 2024?

for normal use and general documentation works, i would say this M1 Air still good for daily or light use. Much better than my other HP with i7 specs
which gets hot and battery only last 4-5 hours vs my personal Mac air. 7-8 easily. Plus is much smooth.

How's the warranty though? I read from their T&C not covered.

Only the demo models are not covered by any warranty. The warranty for this model still intact since its unactivated. AppleCare+ for this model is bloody expensive. Still considering to purchase.

Anyway im letting go my MBA M1 16/256 Gold for rm3k if anyone came across this post. Will update in garage sales soon.
