I can’t help but feel Apple is intentionally delaying the MBA M1 shipping so we change our mind and buy the M2.

This “processing” thing is BS. What is there to process? Which leads me to believe that the M2 is probably more profitable than the M1. Given the price increase.

M2 has a much higher RRP than M1, so that would mean not in the near future.

If M2 had a similar price with M1, then yes indeed M1 MBA’s price would drop by now already.

Mine changed to shipped. And Apple Store states it will be delivered on time... which means all this while they just delay for no reason.

mine ordered on 8/7. changed to shipped yesterday. arrived at subang this morning. but as with most ppl, there is delay clearance. based on trend should be cleared by tmr and proceed to next destination.

just joined m1 MBA family. didnt buy m2 because of the price and cant wait for stocks.

coming from intel MBP 13' 2019. very huge difference. very fast. no heat, no fan noise. old MBP will heat up and very loud fan noise with just watching youtube.

Any USB C hub would yall recommend? // or what USB C Hub you using for your Macbook Air M1?

- 1 HDMI port
- At least 2 USB ports
- If possible 1 USB-C port
- NO SD card reader needed

Preferably, the kind of hub that attaches with the laptop (with wire is okay as well)
I might be using the HDMI for long time (maybe up to 12 hours per day) when Im at home. (Is it okay?)
I understand that it might get hot as you using it (will it damage the motherboard ?) + MacBook Air has no fan

yes, a bit warm but still acceptable
i use hdmi for presentation purpose only, so only use for <1 hour, a but warm la, long term use i dont know
but i suppose all usb hubs will create some heat

Who use AlDente?
The apps won't work while the laptop sleep, right?
It suppose to continue charging up to 100, even when limit set.
But why mine's still stops at the limit set?
(Forgot to set the timer).

free version - battery will be charged when you put mac to sleep while plugged

i just unplug or turn off the power before I put mac to sleep

for your case, could it be the case that your battery needs calibration?

1st maybe try restart your mac 1st and see if the value will change / update

by the way, you have disable mac's internal battery optimisation setting right?

If you didn't, it might interfere with AlDente's function
