QUOTE(eikozai @ Mar 4 2021, 12:09 PM) The inability for this M1 to work on heavy Excel file really frustrated me. Smooth on PC for 250MB file, but on this M1, its slow to response to changes and almost 50% of the time will hang. It's not the issue with the M1. It's MacOS that's the issue. Excel for Mac - runs terribly slow (on super heavy spreadsheets) on my MacBook Pro 16" Intel Core i9 as well. However, the spreadsheet has no issues with my 3 year old PC running windows with average hardware specs. The same goes for the entire Microsoft Office app suite for Mac, including Word too. QUOTE(BrightDays @ Jul 20 2022, 05:12 PM) Any chance Macbook Air M1's price will drop in the future since M2 coming out alrdy....heheh. M2 has a much higher RRP than M1, so that would mean not in the near future. If M2 had a similar price with M1, then yes indeed M1 MBA’s price would drop by now already. QUOTE(tzxsean @ Jul 20 2022, 05:52 PM) depends on how long is the "future" u mentioned ... few months? unlikely unless got special discount from platform sales few years? probably when M3 comes out (clearance stock maybe) Agree with you. Furthermore, Apple is still selling the M1 MBA officially in their stores.
