Yea Superdeal. I chat with their customer support inside Shoppe they told me those are HK/US units. But not sure why the review is MY unit. If really is MY unit then means that the stocks already in MY, but Apple don't want to sell yet. And Superdeal can get those stocks.

Then again, I would rather just wait for official units since its almost the same price.

I know superdeal’s units are already ‘running’ units, meaning the warranty will be much lesser (period) when you get your unit.

From what I know at least for Airpods Pro that I bought (from SxxHxxx), it comes in 2 types of government approval papers inside. One is MCMC and the other is Thai's MCMC or gov.
Usually, you can see that they have Thai characters @ the box's description there along with English and Made for Malaysia. You can check your newly bought toys to see if you have the "sticker" on your box. *hopefully it's not mine only

So I'm guessing that this person's unit is a "joint venture" unit for MY and another country. Since MCMC adi approved, they can just put the "certificate" in the box.

Plus, the do not need to like specify like "oh this is MY unit" when the Macs are made pretty much the same for every region unlike iPhones, iPads and Watch.


PS since Thai and our power plug is diff, I'm guessing this is a SG unit.

Err my iPad Pro box that I bought earlier this year don't have Thai characters on the box.

But since the warranty is international, it’s okay to buy foreign units.

But I guess just the warranty tenure will be shorter, depending on which stock / batch you take from. I’ll only buy if its a huge difference, like I’ve done previously with my 16 inch Macbook Pro. I think I bought it around 2.5k cheaper than local units, warranty short by 3 months lol.

Just buy from from superdeal. Same price as apple store. If could get shopee points then it will be a bargain.

If by 12.12 no concrete news on availability in malaysia i might consider superdeal unit.

Mana boleh. Only preferred sellers will give you Shopee Coins, and Superdeals is not.

Also as highlighted in my earlier post, you might want to confirm on the balance tenure of the warranty, if thats not a thing for you.
