They have the qsteer buggy in HK already. I didn't get any, cause I'm not a dune buggy fan in the 1st place. I also saw a CAUL evo X as well.

Pics of the HK Qbus, they're not from Tomy but I hope you guys won't mind sweat.gif. It's the same as the choro's where you pull back and release to make it go forward.

Also visit this: You need to at least know abit of bahasa malaysia to understand.
indonesian Qsteer forum? Some Magnet Modification to straighten the steering faster. It seems the qsteer uses magnets to pull the steering back to center. Thus he added another small magnet to have a stronger pulling effect.

about RM 100 right

Yes, you can definitely get a similar looking set in Malaysia sold in a pair. Try both the toy's r us and jusco stores. Yup about Rm100... Rm99.90. HOWEVER, the picture shows the ChoroQ model( pullback and release). The RM99.90 set in Malaysia is the Qsteer model that moves via remote control.

I previously bought this WRC set as a present to my ex Boss. icon_rolleyes.gif

nice. dude, ever thought of changing ur ID to something more uniquely you? toycarsmy sounds abit too generic. This forums has so much more discussions going on in various topics other than toy cars. Haha.. later if you decide to collect aeroplanes.. then unsure.gif

Who knows what is the new price for ChoroQ and Qsteer after 16th June? Hauling time! before it's ridiculously expensive.

Wow.. nice set of rx-8. Now u need the transformers Binaltech Rx-8 and also a 1/1 scale Mazdaspeed Rx-8 drool.gif

Anyway, back from Litt Tak warehouse sales. Unfortunately no Qsteer or ChoroQ for sale. I bought 1 pullback flower cart for Rm8 laugh.gif haha, choro Q size. Will post up pics later.

The good news is.. New Drift Package Light coming soon. I saw it on a shelf and asked the Litt Tak person there. He say's this set is very hot in Japan now and they plan to bring it here, in August. I thought a drift car would only be RWD, but was surprised when the front wheels moved as well when I moved the back wheels. Tomy 4WD drift?

Hi everyone...

Its good to know there are fellow CAUL & Qsteer enthusiast here... biggrin.gif , I just started this hobby last week.. tongue.gif, haha..

Current stash:

Qsteer- Skyline KPC30
          - Mitsu Rallyart Evo 9 & Subaru Imprezza WRX

CAUL- Nissan Skyline R32
        - Mitsubishi Evo X

Was really crazy in modding the exterior of my CAUL..lol, below are the pictures to share with you guys...

Tried to transplant the motor with the Hyper Dash motor I bought from Tamiya but it did not work.
Was told by my Electronic engineer colleague that i need to change the transistor on the electronic board to allow more current to flow to the Hyper dash motor.
Will get my new transistors tonite and tried making the modification tomoro. Lets hope it works coz the Hyper Dash motors are really killer fast & powerful...lol

Nice Mod's. Thanks for showing them to us. The black evo needs a few clear coats + polishing ya. Seems you're a hardcore RC engine modder. Do share some guides or pics on how to do those wink.gif. Probably a few of us here would follow and do the same.

Yesterday, I found a green choro Q jeep. Bought it cause i've never seen it anywhere yet. Bought a firetruck while I was at it.

Thankfully, the Choro Q's are staying at the rm12.90 price and not going up rm5 like the Tomica's. But it makes me wonder if Litt Tak already speculate the price increase long ago and immediately priced the Choro Q's at RM12.90 from the start. My guess is that the ChoroQ prices should have been RM8 or 9 when they were introduced.

For those who want the Qsteer Buggy, do visit Toycity branches as they are offering discounts on the retail price. Damn Jusco doesn't give the 20% off for the buggy like other tomy products.

Hi! I just bought Qsteer Evo & Subaru rally. The problem now is that Subaru tyre can shift to left and not right. I have adjust the bottom controller. Same thing. Any idea how to solve it.? Thanks.

Based on the picture, could you look from the bottom if the wheels are locked into position like the picture? That bar running across should be steering both wheels. Maybe something is blocking it from turning right. So if you you your finger and press the wheels to the right, does the wheels actually point right or it's stuck?
(picture from kachan blog)

another choro blog..... I'd really like to have that calsonic trailer and that Mercedes safety car.. sweat.gif and that pink 3 wheel tuk tuk... and ....

Guys n galz, that drift light package just arrived at 6th Floor SG wang yesterday evening. It's selling for just RM139. At this moment don't buy that Rm160 offer which others are selling.

I saw the yellow skyline, red levin and white rx7 available.

Yup, in the end up, to you where you wanna spend your cash lar. But this is a forum where we alert each other about these type of things. Other threads also same mar. I think the most exciting was the transformer's thread where they caught a pic of the scalper. brows.gif

Wow great find!! thumbup.gif

Hoping to find a Choro-Q GTR in Singapore, but didn't managed to see any of the Choro in box. Luckily managed to find Q-steer GTR.

Yah, it is cheaper to get it here, but also very very hard to find it here.
*
I also got the Qsteer GTR yesterday at midv jusco. Too bad they didn't make the front headlights clear, so it's more difficult to light it up with a LED. Nothing to do so I use wd40 and a toothpick to oil that gtr gears and wheels blink.gif Now holiday... trying out j2me on my sony ericsson phone, so far so good with eclipse ide. hehe....

Thanks for sharing news about the GTR choro. 29.90 ar.. I'll skip la. more than double the price of a regular choro.
