Hey guys! URGENT question! PLS HELP ME BEFORE THIS THURSDAY! Is google maps better or nokia maps better? I can never get any results when i search for anything in nokia maps....

If I'm not mistaken, for Google Maps, you must have your internet (wifi, 3G etc).
Nokia maps don't need it unless you want to update or use AGPS etc...

In that case, what maps do you suggest is the best at the moment? User-friendly obviously. Cause it REALLY gets on my nerves everytime nokia maps gives me ZERO results almost evertime i search for something. I type in the keywords, then it almost immediately gives me zero results. Its like its too lazy to even search for anything!

download the latest nokia maps for n95
it is an upgrade from the default one
this is not included in the firmware update so you must install it separately

i think it is easier to use and nicer compared with the older version
and there is a 3 day free trial for NokiaMaps navigation on top of NavFone's free trial

gez u havent realize that this new nokia maps, they only search nearby... lets say ya current position is in Shah Alam, if u search for Putrajaya, nothing will come up.. but if u search anything in Shah Alam, u'll b bombarded with lotsa places... I think I zoom out to show wider map, n do search again...then will get wider range of search result.

it is flash based memory, something similar to the iphone

i just went to the nokia concept store in pavilion ... i saw the dummy set of N95 . the Specs says 8GB HDD ...how come like that de?

Yes, it's true. It's using flash based memory.

Why would u want HDD based anyway? It's more prone to failures compared to flash based..

If Searching For A Location Or Road Is Very Important For You, Then You Should Try Asia Maps.. It's Very Hardworking To Search... laugh.gif But The Navigation Part Is Not That Nice Compared To Nokia Maps And MapKing... For MapKing With Malaysia Maps, Don't Know Why It Cannot Search Road Names.. POIs Is Fine Though...
