I listen to MP3 everyday before I go to bed and I need to charge it daily.
If you don't use battery consuming apps such as camera, mp3, gps then it will prolly last for 2 days with occasional calls and smses.
Yup turning off 3G and Wifi autodetect helps...a bit

Anyway, it's disappointing cos a phone of this price doesn't even have such features. If Symbian OS can't do all these, it wouldn't make a difference with the non-Symbian phones. Worse still, a Nokia 6300 has such features but our top model N95 doesn't

I do agree that you are indeed childish and worse still, not even able to understand my point. I am sharing my thoughts and clearly written there as "my 2 cents". You don't have to agree with what I say and you can move on. On the other hand, I'm not even interested on whether you like what I am saying and vice versa, you can choose not to listen to mine and move on.

Bear in mind this is a forum and everyone can posts whatever they want. Stop whining and as I say if you don't like what people is saying, move on. I'm not looking for a PDA and installing all these games, apps, etc on a phone is NOT what I want to do. There's no point to it and I've also specifically mention PDA is not what I need. If you understand where I'm coming from, the 6300 which is a cheaper model offers more customization and why not the RM2K+ N95? I'm not saying this phone is not good but if you've used the 7610, it's no difference except better speed, response and interface. The rest is almost the same.

Whether the problem is tiny or not, that isn't the point. Whether I want to buy or not, it's none of your business as well First of all, you have to stay focus on the topic of discussion. You are diverting to things like, am I buying to show off, etc which doesn't help at all.

This is a forum and everyone can post whatever they want as long as it's within the rules. For me to put my complain here, even it is the smallest thing or issue in the world, may I ask if it is against the board rules? Is it against the Malaysian constitution? Most importantly, WHO ARE YOU TO STOP ME?

I am old enough to take things constructively and positively. If people come out with complains, I evaluate and see the truth of it and choose to either get back with something meaningful or shut up. People like you (probably uneducated or trying to be smart Malaysian forummer) are the ones that lower down the quality of forum posts. I can complain about my BMW or anything under the sun and I don't see anything wrong with it.

Lastly, this is a public place and if you don't like something, you can either keep quiet or get lost Contribute to the Malaysian society by proving you are a logical and rational to help achieve our PM's vision 2020. The reason why developed countries are there is because they don't have so many people like you in their country. If you can act like that in a forum, I don't know what happens if you see something you dislike on the street

It doesn't matter whether my posts is negative or positive. How many times would your mum complain when the taxi driver overcharge her by 50 cents? How many people complain when the Income Tax doesn't refund RM30 of theirs? Look, there's nothing wrong about complaining.

Firstly, you are deliberately demonstrating how shallow minded and conservative you are. As I've mentioned, I'm commenting on what I feel about the phone. I'm being honest that this phone isn't that great after all. I did not say it is not a good phone (since I notice you don't understand English well enough).

What Nokia would like are people like you, praising their product just because you have one Don't just feel offended because you own a N95 and I think it's not a superb phone. If someone says CK shirts are lousy and you happen to have one, you tend to shoot them down? Come on, get a life. Learn how to be more rational and accept other people's opinions.

If I'm not mistaken, for Google Maps, you must have your internet (wifi, 3G etc).
Nokia maps don't need it unless you want to update or use AGPS etc...

If Searching For A Location Or Road Is Very Important For You, Then You Should Try Asia Maps.. It's Very Hardworking To Search...    But The Navigation Part Is Not That Nice Compared To Nokia Maps And MapKing... For MapKing With Malaysia Maps, Don't Know Why It Cannot Search Road Names.. POIs Is Fine Though...

I was kinda dissappointed when N95 music can't win over my love for w900i 
The hissing sound is the spoiler for my N95... if not it will be the best phone i've ever had

The hissing sound is something like a radio waves that you can hear
For example , turning on your Pc's speaker to a high volume and try to hear it closely , there will be a very mile hissing-like sound.

It happens when i plug my earphones , E2G , Sony HPM-80 and even the nokia earphones when listening to the music.

i've been to pavilion today, and visited the nokia store. I've played around with the N95 unit, i was so suprised with the slider, when the slider in the middle position and pressed on the edge, you can press down 0.5mm further! The new 8gb version should be solid and won't move when you pressed down (at least mine does).

So you can go pavilion nokia store to have a feel on the N95 first before you commit. Since the 8gb came out i strongly recommend save more money to get the 8gb instead.

However i hope it was just the test unit being unhealthy.
