RM1000 still a huge gap if 2021 IP may has small notch (or notchless design) and USB-C

QUOTE(westlife @ Oct 14 2020, 03:35 AM) certainly 256gb, forget about 128gb even. the camera for iphones are much better now. more storage will be required. dun cheap out on storage. Thanks. I think you're right, I should not save the RM500 and struggle the same storage fate later on.always remember = "poor man always buy twice". Can you advise which product here is suitable in charging up iPhone 12 Mini? https://www.apple.com/my/shop/iphone/iphone...e%2B45b0%2B45d4 I heard it'll spoil the battery's lifespan if I use the wrong kind of charger. I used to charge my iPhone 7 a lot with my car and I can testify. |

QUOTE(ajtoh @ Oct 14 2020, 12:41 PM) OLED / A14 (better modem)= yes Haha, yeah, paying more for 5G shouldn't be a consideration now, unless one plans to use the phone for 5 years then definitely worth paying RM1k over the iPhone 115G = maybe 2021 / 2022 RM1000 still a huge gap if 2021 IP may has small notch (or notchless design) and USB-C |

1) can charge but the cable comes with iphone 12 support fast charge PD, provided you have PD charger adapter which no longer include (last year iphone 11 include charger adapter is not support fast charge, just normal 5V1A brick Thanks for the valuable insight! How can we get this "PD charger adapter"? And if I don't care about fast charge PD, what are the alternative? I can be satisfied if it can charge just 10-20% faster than my current iPhone 7. |

Also, is 5G worth it in Malaysia? Do we have the infrastructures necessary to support 5G in most places?
Completely new to this technology here so feel free to give me a lecture |

QUOTE(Kar Weng @ Oct 14 2020, 01:11 PM) Also, is 5G worth it in Malaysia? Do we have the infrastructures necessary to support 5G in most places? to me is not mature, i believe Malaysia telco not deploying mmWave 5G, all are just sub-6Ghz, which it actually doesnt seems much speed different compare to LTE in real life, most telco showing ideal condition where the 5G node beside the tested phone device when running speed test, latency probably something worth noticing than speed for sub-6Ghz 5GCompletely new to this technology here so feel free to give me a lecture This post has been edited by vez: Oct 14 2020, 01:31 PM |

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 14 2020, 07:37 AM) To me, it's not that big a deal coz I've not used the original accessories that comes with every iPhone I've owned since the iPhone 5 as I've always used my iPad charger. When I sell off my iPhones, the accessories are almost always unused (except maybe the cable which I might use during emergency). Same, don't even use them once at all using my sony wf1000xm3 earphone + aukey pd charger and type c to lightning since iphone 12, 12 pro and 12 pro max screen goes bigger, the tempered glass since iPhone X not working already |

really tempted by the iPhone 12 mini
all comes down to hands on experience if its screen estate is really smol, then the regular 12 is the better option. both devices are segmented into an obvious way. you want a smol powerful phone for social and connectivity? get the mini however if you do everything inside a phone like how you operator a normal laptop, regular 12 would be the better option and i dont see the need of Pro. nobody should go for Pro. unless they want to take advantage of that camera, in way they execute it better than Xperia 1ii. that's marketing for you |
