From my understanding, anyone with Unifi coverage can now subscribe to digi fibre. Can anyone share the actual modem and router provided? How is the connection look like? Is it same with Unifi or maxis?

Thanks

I wonder if that's the same for DIGI for TIME Fibre availability too as they had an agreement earlier of the year I think.

Yes their plans are the same across all networks not only TIME, but also TNB Allo's latest network.

Similar to Maxis the prices for their plans are same across all available networks to prevent consumers of accusing them of unfair practices.

I already applied their 500MBps plan.. until now still ding dong.. I terminated my Unifi last month (last day on 26th sept. Unifi user since 2011 VIP5). TM already "clear" me from anything related to Unifi but Digi said I still have acc with them.. WTH digi..

I also think to sub Celcom Home fiber but celcom fiber at semenanjung only max 100Mbps right now..

What package were you subscribed to and how much was the bill?
I'm on 800Mbps@RM229
If TM offer to give me a decent 42" tv for free just by renewing my contract, I'd take it laugh.gif

TM termination needs 1 month cooling period before your account will be totally deleted from system. You should have use switching method instead of terminating. It is just like MNP and will take 10 to 15 days for porting and installation to complete.

Same as you, I'm from UniFi lite 10mbps paying RM149 previously with add-on for calls. When I want to switch provider, TMpoint staff have a lengthy talk with me to counter offer me, by reducing the price to RM129, same as current 100mbps pricing with free calls.
And then regarding the contract part, I told them if they are going to renew my contract to 24 months, might as well I continue switching to other operator since they are same pricing for 100mbps. End up he decided against renewing my contract.

Now if there is any better deal i can switch anytime.

I really wish their pricing could be more competitive especially 100mbps, since they do not have VOIP like Maxis and TM.

I did request to port out to "Green" isp. bcos for RM149 in their package get 300Mbps already.. during agreed date, 19th Sept 2020, their guy come to install/ configure the modem then "realised" that my modem can support max 100Mbps only. Im very angry la because when I ask last time, they said can support up to 800Mbps.. They ask me to wait another 2 weeks to get new modem.

after marah kaw kaw them on the phone and email, i decided not to continue with team Green.

atm using unifi air and Yoodo with my B818 263..enough la for now. only band38 is strong at my house..

It's not the green man fault if the BTU cannot support more than 100mbps. The Modem is provided by TM and TM have to change it to a newer one. Maybe since you are porting out TM do not bother to change so that you will complain slow speed after signing with new provider.

The modem is provisioned and supplied by TM since you're on TM HSBB infra. The reason why it only supports 100M is because your current fibre modem is already obsolete.

But I'm wondering why the TM side needs 2 weeks to swap a fibre modem(ONT)??
Why would they need so many days when everything is already setup at your place.
