Thinking of getting my first Apple Watch this time round. The SE’s price is attractive but love the blue and AOD on AW6.

To owners of AW5, is the AOD useful in daily usage? Does it drain the battery a lot?

Well, I guess we will be getting AW6 & SE here in about a month's time. Give or take, mid - end of October.
My estimation: 12 or 13 Oct announce, 16 Oct pre-order, 23 Oct new toy on our wrist.

Reasons?

Blue & Red exclusively for S6 only..

Im planning to get the Blue and will find a way to activate the ECG like for AW5 previously

Has anyone ordered their watch from Apple? How long is it going to take to arrive?

In my experience, battery would be about 15%-20% lower at the end of the day with AOD on. Mine is AW5 40mm btw. The 44mm version should last slightly longer.

Personally I don’t mind buying AW without AOD as we need to raise hand to see the watch anyway.

Better processor, newer sensor, choice not limited to aluminium and most importantly it got new colours.

after compare the spec, SE seems to be a good bargain with min. different with series 6. unless color is one of the main factor.

own series 4,

looking into series 5, 6 and SE. nothing to jump up.
- not daily use, most on outing, weekend
- not fully utilize

who ever buying for first time, yes choose SE.
bargain. no much diff with 4, 5, and just abit 6.

Family sharing for apple watch available in Malaysia? Apple watch with family setup will have only 14 hours battery life as stated at apple website

seem like the Titanium version is not available for MY region.

was having trouble choosing SS or Titanium, will buy the watch together with Iphone 12 when the phone is launch.

I wonder if the always on display on series 5 and 6 is a huge difference. This is the only reason I want to upgrade from my series 3. But cannot decide if the AOD on 5 is good enough or to straight go for 6.

SE seems like a good deal, using AW5 chip?

I think get the 6 ...better nits on the AOD and also better processor for slight better battery life....
I still considering to get 6 for my first apple watch purchase coz price is not cheap ....around close to 2K

I'm still wearing my Series 3 since Sept 2017 till now
The battery still stays strong with 1~2 days / charge

Not sure wanna change or not but it's kinda bad that S6 doesnt offer 42mm T__T
