my second day using the new Titanium series 6, was very impressed with how light is the device on my wrist.

ECG and Blood Oxygen works well out of the box.

would highly recommend people thinking of getting the SS to get Titanium version instead if money is not an issue.

quick question: have you used previous SS version of the watch?
*
i been using the Series 0 since launch 2015 which weight around 50g, i can feel the heavy weight on my wrist during workout or even normal wear.

the Titanium series weight slot in between Aluminium and SS, i did try on the SS in Apple store and the weight still an factor for me.

Just curious, your series 0 still working ? If so, thats amazing!! What about battery life degrade?
*
mine is still working flawlessly with little to no scratch but battery life have degrade a lot.

hardware wise is slow and lagging, a restart take closed to 5 min compare to under 2 min for series 6

BT - 8.30am to 6pm (around 25%++,sometime even less depend how many notification i get per day)
Airplane mode - 8.30am to 10pm (around 10%++ including 45 min workout)

Just migrate on to apple ecosystem recently from Android.
Currently enjoying the experience, and thinking of buying an Apple Watch to further complements it.

Looking at cellular vs GPS version. Are they advantages in cellular versions besides having a always on connection?

And also am looking for stainless steel and titanium versions.
Any recommendations where we can get titanium editions except Singapore?  hmm.gif

if weight is a factor then without a doubt Titanium version.

USD 899 (pair with leather loop) comes with 2 years warranty and an extra pair of dark gray sports band (exclusively for titanium version only)

i came from a series 0 SS and now using the series 6 Titanium, never look back at SS again for my next watch.

the prices from HK stores is pretty much in line with US stores, if you can wait then i would suggest buying from HK instead of SG.

Thanks for the input!
Titanium sounds like a good option. And HK prices is only slightly more than stainless steel versions in Malaysia.

Looking around this thread and LYN. Seems like using buyandship is the best option to get from Apple HK?

that is something you have to figure out at your end.

i'm based in USA so my option is pretty much just walk into an apple store or online order.

Can share why would one use Airplane mode or what’s the difference in AW? Thanks
*
consider the watch is 5 years + and the battery degraded so much.

if i use BT, i won't even last a full working day before i had to charge them so i just turn on airplane mode to save battery.

thanks, it’s good to know AW can be used as independent watch instead of connected all the time. I’m still learning about it. What’s your secret of keeping it flawlessly?  biggrin.gif

i was very careful about it for the first 3.5 years but was kinda relax after that knowing i will eventually move to a new watch soon.

always wash with temperature or warm water after workout to avoid sweat building around the watch casing.

i probably drop my watch twice in the 5 years ++ life time and i don't slap on any casing or screen protector - to me those are just a waste of money (i can understand if it is a aluminium version as is using a cheaper quality material).
