It's a problem of another device not being able to recognise the other due to 'improper' switch on s.o.p. Sequence, in this case.

Taikor rx, I have read the Yammy thread. Jialat, 663 is way cheaper than 605... Ooppss this one obsolete. I mean 606.

QUOTE(splee8868 @ Apr 22 2008, 03:58 PM) yup, i own onkyo 875... n my firmware version is the latest one v1.07 & also DSP version also the lastest one...how to check the firmware version? just press & hold " display" button at the avr panel, not the remote then press" power" button, from there u can see the main firmware version, DSP version , hdmi & video version...for model 605,705 ,805 & 905, all can check through this way.. if ur 875 main firmware is below v1.07 & 905 is below v1.08, then u should upgrade the firmware.... n the most important thing, the onkyo just release the DSP firmware upgrade to solve the issue DTS-MA may damage ur speaker, so this new DSP firmware is to solve this issue.. Bro, when getting your big screen? |

since you could afford 875, I suggest you go for HD HTpj and not multimedia pj, which is a waste.

Seriously, If Dali Ikon 5.1 for RM12,000 is indeed value for money (in Elite's langauge; CHEAP). Mine only RM10,000, which also takes a lot of light years to save to have it.

erm.... Onkyo 875 was awarded Best 750+ Pound AVR Awards 2007.
Pioneer : 4 stars. Exciting listen and plenty of features. Audiopro? Not a fan of this. But, my setup would be no match to superior Dali Ikon, B&W 6, Focal JMlab, , MA Silver RS, Mission Performance 5.1, Klipsch Ref series, etc. How I wish I have one of these. |
