What if i reload RM1667 to ewallet, then RM260 to autobilling insurance, then RM300 to online shopping, then RM860 to other ewallet to fulfill the total bill of RM3080 outstanding amount?

Also will get back only RM50 cashback? If so then i feel that my autobilling of RM260 that i transferred from my other credit card to this Affin duo is useless already.
*
can get >RM50 cb with that, but that rm860 kinda wasted lor.

you should try to maximize the "online shopping" to get max RM30 cb instead.

I saw the  ewallet partner inaide got tng prepaid card may know this tng prepaid card is tng card or visa prepaid card?
*
tng card. technically, it is a prepaid card because you need to reload before use.

any non-scheme cards that need to reload is known as generic prepaid card (ie closed-loop or proprietary like tng). it is still under bnm guideline as it stores monetary value.

the new is tng VISA prepaid card. this visa card did not exist when Duo was launched few years back.

The CB we can achieve can be between 50 and 80?

I got the impression that it's all the way up to 50 and then jump to 80 by having a statement balance of 3080 😅

Any total amount of qualifying spend in between 1667 and 3080 gets nothing.
*
50 and 80 is cb capping, not the only cb you must meet smile.gif

can I still enjoy the CB for 1 card up till rm50 right for 3% online w/o activated the other card?
*
each card has its own feature/benefits, not shared between both cards

each card works independently

Auto debit cashback is it only for insurance, for nirvana auto debit, is it fall under the cashback category? Anyone try?
*
affin never say auto-debit cb is for insurance only

it applies to any auto-debit/recurring payments or subscriptions

user posted image

it'd be tough to CONFIRM nirvana's auto-debit nature since...

1) not everyone getting service from nirvana
2) not everyone pay using affin duo

if nirvana can easily change auto-debit instruction (by changing card), better you try to validate yourself instead

1) setup autodebit to affin duo visa
2) monitor cb
3) if got cb, continue with affin duo
4) if no cb, change to different card instead (whichever give you cb)

else, if no cb, can just continue with affin duo to make up the "spending" criteria of RM3080 statement balance per month (if you're targeting RM80 cb)

Just had a minor unpleasant experience with my Affin Duo Visa. I've been using the same card for my YouTube Premium subscription for more than a year without any issue & somehow last night I received an email from Google claiming that the autobilling transaction wasn't successful. Checked my Google Pay & found that the card is now greyed off & the account is closed.

Just called to the bank CS & they admitted that the transaction was blocked on their end last night but they struggled to give me an explanation so I'll have to wait for their further follow up call later.

EDIT: No one called me so I have to call Affin CS again to follow-up. Apparently, their system auto-blocked the transaction due to suspected fraudulent transaction even though the CS confirmed that the transaction description is exactly the same as previous months' description. He tried to discuss with their authorization team to have an exception put in place for YouTube but somehow the said exception will only last for 24 hours which is pointless. Therefore, he can only advise me to give Affin a call prior to the next autobilling to have them register the exception to avoid the transaction being blocked again. He said the authorization team should have given me a call whenever the system blocked a transaction but no one called me either.

Anyway, just a heads up to those who use Affin Duo cashback CC for their autobilling for potential transaction issue in the near future.
*
i guess this is due to tons of fraud/invalid fb/google services' (FACEBK, METAPAY, Google*, etc) payment attempts thru cards, until affin took proactive to blanket block them doh.gif

actually my view is better safe than sorry.
it's a good thing to block first rather than let it go thru.

pity those with genuine recurring subscriptions

i recall some time ago some bank actually take the hassle to call us to verify transaction they think is suspecious.
now seemed lesser this kind of practice.
*
usually large amount, they'd call to verify

for those recurring txn, there's too many of them on daily basis. near impossible to call everyone for every recurring txns

of course they could do proactively, send a 2-way sms to cardholder. reply Y if confirmed genuine, N to block.

again. cost involved too.

Solutions:
1. Send one way notification SMS: You card had been debited at "merchant", please call us if you didn't make this transaction.
2. Use the bank app pop up notification when a transaction occur.

If BNM doesn't force the bank to improve the system, they will choose the cost saving way. haha
*
errr no bank app for general banking biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

blanket block is faster and secure, but inconvenient to genuine users/txns biggrin.gif just need a better way to handle it haha

as based on other forumers experience, fraudulent transactions involving this particular A Bank is  puke.gif  puke.gif ..
taking a very long and tedious process pending their investigation.

while some other bank will straight credit back the alleged amount pending their investigation.
with a notice they reserve the rights to charge back if the investigation conclude otherwise.
*
fraud handling can be different from bank to bank anyway

some bank system (hosts) has advance functions while some may have simpler system to manage

some doesnt/unwilling to bear the fraud txn first (by refunding to cardholder), while some willing to do so biggrin.gif

Paying for the order at Shopee and Lazada with Duo Visa is considered online or e-wallet?
Repost a similar question that was left unanswered.

I know that Public Bank Visa Signature consider direct payment to Lazada and Shopee as online. Similar case for ShopeePay Later bill payment. Thus, I'm wandering if it is the same for Affin duo visa.
*
read https://www.affinalways.com/storage/AffinAl...artners-ENG.pdf

general rule: does ur shopee/Lazada direct payment shown the ewallet name in the list above?
