Smart move by Affin, instead of giving rebate to Visa, they gave to MasterCard. Tsk tsk tsk. laugh.gif

I just walked in to branch, the visa signature looks like a good deal too, 3 % contactless cash back for all excluding government and charity transaction, submitted my application for this and also Duo.

Good good. I also have three cards now. tongue.gif

PBB Quantum Visa is better than Affin Visa Signature right? 5% vs 3%.

Yes, but Quantum Visa CB is not enough. tongue.gif

Just received msg application not successful sad.gif
Apply duo and visa signature.
Can I apply again? Or need to wait 6 month?
(No late payment, 10k salary)
*
Try checking with CS/your agent for the reason (if they can share), appeal, re-apply 6 months later or pledge using FD.
Salary is not the sole criteria for a successful credit card application. smile.gif

Has anyone actually applied for this before? I didn't receive any response for my CC application earlier. Not sure if that email address will be attended by someone. tongue.gif

Regardless, I will try COC for 0% first. laugh.gif UOB just offered me 0% 12-month BT.

For card application? Oh, I also applied online and went through the same route as yours. laugh.gif When I applied online, they did ask to send documents to that email address but didn't receive any response. However, one sales rep contacted me and got my thumbprint.

For COC: Cardmember may apply for BTiP/CIP via AFFINBANK/AFFIN ISLAMIC Contact Centre at 03-8230 2222

They will collect your contact, and someone will call back shortly in the same day (for my case).

I didn't filled any form, just a phone verification, and has the amount transfer to Affin saving account

Oops. I just click "sent" via email before reading your post here.

actually, this can also be done via phone call.
Based on my experience, AFFIN is quite efficient in this. Within 2hours, Affin bank returned my call and got my BT done.
*
OK, let me try via email first. tongue.gif If by tomorrow nobody calls me back, then I will call them. laugh.gif

So, I just called Affin Bank at 10.46 a.m. for CIP application and I was told an officer will call me back by today.

I'm surprised the call came in 5 minutes ago. rclxms.gif He asked me which card I want to use for CIP, I chose Rewards card so that I won't mess up with other cards' transaction as I don't plan to use this card at all. The problem is I haven't activated that CC yet. tongue.gif So, CS helped me to activate as well. Good job.

Everything was done via phone, it will be credited within 3-5 working days. The officer who called said if I'm interested with 0% BT, can straight contact CS and mention his name. This guy is efficient. thumbup.gif

Oh ya, my earlier call to CS also checked for my Duo statement date and I was told it is the same as VS.
