I am Maybank NTB CC holder recently. However, last year i manage to secure 8 banks CC within 3 months period.

High risk industry - erm i dont think so.

Current employer - 5 years

Applied too many credit facilities in the past few months.
High outstanding balance as at 31/7/2020 as you were playing too many games but not willing to pay extra before next monthly statements were issued!

It's either their approval system didn't put in AFFIN Duo card or it's a strict approval process.

Do you have eCCRIS? Mind to check where the location approve yours application?

Mine was not AFFIN HQ address. Is the AFFIN Branch location nearby. So I believe it is process/reject/approve by AFFIN branch instead of HQ.

Status is still pending and I used another phone no. to call but IVR is not able to capture my NRIC no., so it was directed to CS.

Reminder for others, whenever you are checking the application status using IVR, use the no. you used for registration. Otherwise, just let it connect to a human speaking CS but you will need to go through verification questions.

My CCRIS is also still pending... However, my intuition tells me I won't get through this round. My hire purchase loan just approved in July though amount is not great and unfortunately I have a "1" in my CCRIS recently as I forgot to pay my Citibank card on time. Blame myself for the carelessness. bangwall.gif Let's see. laugh.gif

I think CCRIS just for their reference only. Even you got 100% clean "0" on your CCRIS. It does not promise you will get approval I think.

You were asking for the branch details, mine shows Main Branch Wisma SPK on eCCRIS.

Haha my 31/7 outstanding balance a bit high, but 31/8 outstanding balance / approved credit limits is less than 4%. So I may apply only next week. smile.gif

How to check your Credit Card application via IVR?

Call 03-8230 2222
Choose your preferred language 1 for Malay 2 for English
Press 1 for Personal Account 2 for Corporate Account
Press 2 for credit card
Press 1 to check card application
Enter 12-digits ID number
Press 1 to confirm

If your application has been submitted you will hear "We are still working on your application..."

If your application hasn't been submitted yet, it will tell you your information does not match with our system...

**It is suggested to use the phone number that you filled in during the application, otherwise you will be redirected to speak directly to the human CS.

Just for you all reference on how to check the status.

Look like AFFIN is approve/reject by the branch instead of HQ. No idea how AFFIN credit facilities work.

May I just ask for the CCRIS report, can I apply it online (I found the documents needed to fill up and send) or I still have to go to BNM or AKPK to sign up? If I do online apply, does it mean that's the only a time off/report to be sent to me?
