Hi Sifu, for pre-registered new car offer from Honda dealer, ie i will be the second owner of the car. So will it void the warranty since i am not the first owner.

i read somewhere else before if 2nd owner the warranty will automatically void.

Appreciate sifu advise , thanks you

Never heard of this situation, if buying pre-owned car with valid warranty you should inherit it from previous owner. Provided the previous owner never skip service or modify anything that would void the warranty. Check with honda dealer about warranty T&C.

For eHEV version, which driving style is the most efficient (in recharging the battery).

Coasting (release the pedal), braking, or use the Regenerative braking mode

All of these will charge up the battery while driving, but which are the 'best' one?

coasting - slow charge, longer period
braking - faster charge, shorter period.

My car sometimes makes a really strange noise when I shift from neutral to drive. It's happened a few times since I got it. Have you guys experienced anything similar?

the glare is cause by the tint, after install u need to dry them for weeks under sun, after that period of time nothhing can be done to fix
u can go see your tint, there will be a white gap because of the demister strip

After 45k of mileage of spec V 2021, I already claimed a warranty for new headlights due to yellowish DRL (pair) and a bad waterpump (faint intermittent squealing sound can be heard inside the cabin).

Got. Actually most electrical steering rack do nowadays according to my outside mechanic. Even the ever reliable T brands once electrical steering are used. Old timers hydraulic steering very rare have such defective failures unless worn out. Just the more ppl buying and using the cars, the more news you heard about it. Honda already got bad reputation on it and yet still cannot fix it on all their car ranges. Even T brand popular small SUV also hear got this problem but no proven records to back the claim tho.

So the new facelift comes with full range ADAS, it's very unfair to the pre facelift buyers.

The prices also go up lar. Car manufacturer don't give free lunches.

Anyway with advancement of tech and competition, it will always be unfair for previous gen or pre-facelift buyers. Based on historical trends, facelifted car almost ALWAYS add on stuff that are considered lacking in pre-facelift. So if can, wait for facelift to buy the car to get the "complete" version of that generation of cars. However many wanting to buy a car, would not wait 2-3 years for that. Disadvantage of facelifted "complete" car, they can only enjoy 2 years before the next gen with MUCH more upgrade feature comes in. So it is really a give and take thing. Pre-facelift car can enjoy the same gen car for at least 4 to 5 years before feeling dated when new gen car arrive.

Look at T Cross....the facelifted version will come with a electronic brake while the pre-facelift using the ultra old leg brake. Talk about unfair to pre-facelift but it WAS expected for the facelift to push for competition. It makes the facelift version a car that are more desirable...enticing ppl to buy them. Its a marketing strategy coz they could have included that in pre-facelift version.
