hi guys, anyone of you facing rattling sound on A pillar of the car?

The rattling sound started appearing around 2 weeks of my ownership & has sent it to SC for first service but yet it is still not fixed.

Their reason mentioned was the tint shop did not install the tint properly & left some clips unclipped on the door panel (padahal the sound is coming from A pillar).

QC seems to be really bad...

Also, the sound of rocks hitting the wheel/bottom of the car is quite obvious, any budget-friendly way to fix this?

Thanks!

Just want share my exp
City V-Sensing Pre-FL
4 years @ 42000km = 0 issues...well my 10yo lancer and 8 yo crv also 0 issues till now haha

and i love sensing = LKAS + RDM + ACC really make long journey a breeze, and it feel natural too.

not sure why much hate on LaneWatch, this thing is super quick to switch on/off and very useful....but yeah, if right mirror have bsm would be good. But i wouldnt trade it for lanewatch

Just saw an instagram post from a honda salesmen, seems like there'll be a price hike of 4k for the facelift FE. Not sure how accurate it is though.

Heavy footed very hard to judge unless we sit beside you on you daily drive to observe your driving style. If compared with others, unless one drive the same car on the same route, then only can compare. Vios 2019 on purely City drive hit about 8-10km too but once it got into highway drive without jams from Klang to KL once or twice on a tank, it just improved to 11km. So really cannot compare directly unless you suddenly become uncle style careful, light footed drivers that goes against your current nature.

In purely City drive with jams and heavy footed aggressive driving style, yes, it can reach that FC. As for other members driving, their heavy foot and driving might be less aggressive than yours or the traffic conditions are different.

went for a test drive last weekend, thinking of replacing my 2013 saga flx.

cabin size is huge & quiet, backseat room is also huge. suspension is much better, roads in my place aren't good but the bumps feel muted compared to the saga. pickup is responsive and speed is definitely there if needed, im uncle so don't really drive fast-fast.

not really familiar with adas, but the lanewatch works quite well. there are usb ports for charging and wired AACP. there's even a spare tyre.

all in all, pretty impressive package. gonna drive test the vios next.

Haha coming from saga 2013 background, sub 100k cars like city, vios, etc will be better no matter what.
If you are using highway, the lane keeping adas is god given especially when you are sleepy or distracted. It helped keep you in the lane with your hand only touching the steering when you are distracted. Not going to save you but will help keep in the lane without accidentally veering out and bang other cars...hahaha.

Actually I like the front interior of VIOS, it has BSM that honda lack, it has 360 that honda lacks. It has the floating lcd screen.

However as an uncle, the rear seat roof is too low and legroom lacking especially with the high raised middle floor. The rear seating space and legroom is a huge dealbreaker for me.

A bit turn from the previous gen Vios. The previous gen acceleration is lacking and suspension is bit soft but the seat comfortability are one of the best in this segment. It is a comfortable car (more comfortable than City, previous and current gen also cannot fight on this) but not the current gen Vios. It lost one of the best feature, the soft comfortable seats.

vios' rear seat roof is rather low, older kids might be uncomfortable. im not really a fan of the large front grill.

ultimately took the city V spec in late may. over two months now and no problems yet. the SC told me to rotate the tyres every 3 months or 5,000km. any recommendations for dashcam?

haven't changed the EO yet, mileage around 3,000km so far. v spec doesn't come with dashcam but the SA gave me a cheap one , front & back with free installation. looking to change later on.

i get to drive someone else's honda city latest gen (only few months old) a few times

if the headlight set to manual, when stop the car engine, there is warning sound until u flick the switch to auto, this is a usability problem that i cant believe their engineers did not find out and rectify

im driving vios 2nd gen which full of this logic shit and even worse stuff but even this latest model after many gens also not problem free

overrated japanese cars with dickhead engineers
