i notice newer gen of Honda cars are very sensitive to battery voltage level.... maybe some voltage spikes during driving causing it to go hairwire

my other honda car also if battery low cannot detect memory seat

Too much gadgets like conti cars already.... my civic ketam also had problem with alarm going off for no reason and could not start the car, thought it was the battery (less than 1 yr old), battery guy came for my warranty claim but tested battery in good condition. Manage to start the car no issue and (touch wood) since then on problem disappeared. Sent to SC with the videos but they returned after 1 day saying could not replicate the problem thus no issue...

Was using GS YUASA TOUGH battery tat time, and just recently switched to another same model battery

update please, got people said about hardwire for parking mode can cause warranty void?

Yet to collect my car yet but SC just called and say problem solved by removing all my dash cam and locktech wiring. Update again after I've collected my car... hope there are no charges for this...

Hi, is it recommend to install dashcam from Honda? The price is about RM 700++ but if buy from outside, SA say might be problem when there is claim and say due to outside dashcam need special wiring.

Plan to get outside one and use the USB port below the radio.

Just buy from outside. There's no such problem with "need special wiring". The only time got special wiring is when you wanna do 24/7 parking monitoring. Otherwise, it's just a simple plug and play. and maybe some skills on hiding of wires.

If do wire hiding through the pillar, will it void the warranty also? The pillar also got Airbag right

SA say next week can get car. Any tinted brand/promotion to suggest?

Update: Just collected my car back after 2 nights at SC. Car is good but wiring for both locktech and dash cam hardwire removed. Ask me to only connect dash cam to USB port and not the fuse box... No mention of warranty being voided and no charges for the service. I'd praise Honda for this!

Now not sure if I should still pursue switching to another fuse to still have the parking surveillance mode on my dash cam or just be a good boy stick to the USB port.

Hi guys its my first time buying a car, so i went and book for city v sen, and my SA told me he will be giving me this "free tinted" by 3M.

The question is, if i don't want his free tinted, as in idk which type of 3M tint he is giving me and he refused to tell me, i would rather do my tinting at 3M myself.

So in normal cases do i nego with him for cash rebate/ discount if i dont want the free tinted he is giving me?

Any sifus can guide me on hw to nego with my SA?
What can i ask for?
And what i should not ask so that i dont sound like a stupid?

My SA offered me cheap RM500 Raytech tints, I told him I do not want it as it would cost me even more to have them remove it to redo with my desired tint. At first he only offered umbrella as free gift, had to jual mahal abit and in the end he gave way and offered 1k rebate... but this was before I placed my booking....

So far this position no problem, verified by TNG people, hope it helps.

I have no problem with mine on the inside windscreen. I just put it inside my windscreen and held by clear plastic

Mine I just slipped in together with my road tax disc... no need stick here stick there...

If not mistaken that is only meant for USB thumbdrive used for their mp3 player app. The one below is to connect smartphone eg., apple carplay (can charge but quite low current). Ended up I decided to use the 12v socket beside these 2 USB ports and plug in my own 2Amp charger....

I think best to use a separate USB charger, the player both USB ports i feel it easily trigger its overcurrent/overvoltage protection, then the port no longer have power until off and start back engine....
Happen too frequent i beh tahan, i plug a external usb charger to the cigg port. somemore hv fast charging 18w.

Also, I wanted to check whether any owners here face intermittent issues using Android Auto.

Sometimes when I plug in the cable, my spotify just keeps on loading inifinitely until I unplug and plug it in again. Other times I'll get "android auto has stopped working" and again, i have to unplug and plug in again. then when i restart my phone, it solves both problems.

I'm using a pretty old Huawei (Mate 10), so I'm trying to determine whether it's because of my phone or whether this is an issue I should bring up to the service centre when I send my car for servicing
